I have been suffering from the most horrible cold known to human kind (no i am not exagerating, this is horrible!! :cry: ) I took a whole bunch of different meds last nite and was like a zombie, i fell sleep quick.. i normally play w Chloe before we go to bed and then she cuddles behind my knees.... well, i was so drugged up i couldnt move, and i just remenber feeling something wet in my fingers, this morning when i woke up i realize it was Chloe giving me kisses all night long, she was sleeping w her face next to mine and comforting me... i guess she realized mommy was sick, and isntead of being bratty she just wanted me to know she cares! :love::love::love:! I love her sooooo much!!

The thing that knocks out a cold quicker than any medicines are simply vitamin C and some cold-eeze. When I feel something coming on, I start taking 1000 mg. vitamin C every three hours, and a cold ee-ze every four hours. Within 24 hours, the cold or flu that was trying to take hold, is gone.
When you take medications for cold and such, your body forgets how to take care of things like this.

Thx for the advise... i will do so.. i am trying anything now.. this is killing me!! :(

Thanks for the tip, I will have to give it a try too. Wonder if you can take cold eez if you are on other meds :confused:

How cute is that???? I love these little ones! Hubby, who said we could not get a dog after we had to put our sheltie down, has bonded so much with Jack that he is now telling Jack that we will get a sister for him one of these days!!!

My point is that they can melt that iciest of hearts with their little ways. I hope you are feeling better and I totally agree with the Cold Eeze! That is the best stuff ever!!!!!

I have been very ill lately too & Bee wont leave my side(more than normal) normally she is always with me but she is like ontop of me always.

I have had this cold since Christmas Eve which is now 1 1/2 weeks. I have pretty much stop blowing my nose, but, now I have this cough that won't go away. Pixie has been a sweetie. She lays next to me while I watch TV and when I go to bed she is right next to my side. It is funny how they know that the Human is not feeling well.

She is everything i need!! i am still feeling horrible, but meds are starting to work... but she makes me feel better just by cuddling with me... she is so precious!! ^_^

My mom lives out of state and she thought i was not gonna keep Chloe for more than 2 weeks (she is my 1st ever dog since i started living on my own).... and now she realizes this little angel is here to stay!! she is my baby, my angel and my little nurse!! :P
