Proud of my Yorkie- Rose I have been keeping her in her little exercise pen most of the time with her pee pads, food, water, and bed in it. Anyways when I let her roam in a small area.. she normally decides to pee on the floor...so I have punished her by keeping her in her pen only to get out and be held and played with for a little while! Oh I might need to mention she is 4 mos old. Two days ago I started feeling sorry for her..so we decided to let her run around the living room area while we were in there.. and would watch her closely. When we thought she had to use it we'd put her back in her little pen til she went and let her out again. Oh my... how did she loved having the run of the living room. Then all of a sudden she would go in there by herself and use it! Wow! Well today I ran outside for a few minutes and left my granddaughter in the kitchen eating. When I got came back in, she told me that Rose pooed. And sure enough she did but she went in her pen to do it! I am extremely proud of her! I think she is telling me she doesn't want to be in there no more than she has too! I just got to love her! :aimeeyork |

Yeah Rose! I was great when Buster finally got it. It would be so cute we would be playing and he would go uh oh and trot on off to the piddle pad. Now if I could get him to realize that two feet on the pad is not the same as four.LOL Oh well the bathroom floor is easy to clean. |

Awww that's so nice:thumbup: Hello everyone i am new to Yorkie Talk. Lola is my Christmas gift she is 3 month old. I am worried because this is my first time with a dog specially a dog that is so delicate like Yorkshire. I am having trouble potty training her:cry:. She does pee in the pee pad, but not #2. I took her outside for the first time yesterday morning it took a while but she went. I am a bit scared to bring her outside because is cold. Another thing i am concern is that sometimes she gets very hyper and starts running around the house and bump herself with like the bed etc. I can be sitting in the floor with her in my arms and she would jump up, just don't want her to get hurt. Last question, what is the best soap the bathe her with because i bought one and i think it gave her allergies because she was scratching herself the next day.:( |
