Very bummed :( Most of you probably read my post about the possible male we could get yesterday. She seemed all interested in finding him a home, etc.. Well I had called her a 2nd time yesterday afternoon to ask some ?s and she never called me back. called her again this am and left a message. She called me back a short time later and seemed almost annoyed? Then she gets into "Im not gonna be around for a few days...etc" When we originally planned on seeing hte dog today. Then she gets into "im not even 100% sure Im oging to get rid of him" Im so upset right now..want to cry, but its sooo silly. I want one so bad its all I think about!!! BUt maybe its for the better..being I know we would have had a hard time with training and all... Im just so disapointed. Thanks for letting me vent, and for all the encouragment in yesterdays posts! |
I wish you the best of luck with your decision! Just remember - meant to be will always happen! There is the perfect puppy out there for you! There are a lot of YT members who will post new puppies on this site, all the time. You should keep checking. Also, I got my laila from a newspaper. Not sure if you had checked there, but it is a great way to find pups that are close in geographics. Good luck! |
I know it's hard, and it hurts, But I believe everything happens for a reason.. you'll find your baby,, ( or they'll find you) It will happen, it took over a year for me to find mine. ;) |
Why can't people just be upfront and say....ya know, I've been thinking and I've decided not to do xyz...instead of the run around or no communication. Geesh. I'm sorry you're disappointed, it's hard when you get your hopes up. |
Don't worry it will all work out!!! I know it is hard waiting & you feel let down. But it is for the best if she was acting that way. |
Aw I am so sorry. t sounds like she has changed her mind. Just start looking and you will find another pup. Maybe now you will get a puppy and be able to enjoy one that is little. |
Oh, I know how much you want a furbaby. One will find you, I'm sure of it. This one wasn't it, but hang in there!!!! You'll get the right one soon. :) :) |
well that just sucks and is heart braking....hey if you want one really bad why dont you by one over the internet? |
I'm so sorry that it didn't work out. I will be on the lookout for a yorkie that fits your needs. Zeus' breeder is in NC, but her pups are a lot more than $500. |
Thank you everyone, you guys are great! I have left messages at about 5 different places that have some advertised..and also 2 yorkie rescue #s I found, so maybe I'll get lucky. Thanks again!! |
It's okay. It just wasnt meant to be. There is a perfect dog out there waiting for you, I think you just have to be patient and keep searching. Just think, now you wont have to battle the potty training with a 4yr old dog which would have been very very hard. Keep searching, everything will work out! Hannah |
I always believed that things happen for a reason. I know you are upset now but there is the perfect puppy out there waiting for you to find him. Don't give up and Good luck. |
Almost the same thing happened to me. I went to my veternarian where I used to take my yorkie Lacey. And asked if she had any clients that breeds yorkies. And she gave me a lady's name and number that lives only 20 minutes away. So, I called her right away. The operator kept coming on and saying this number is not accepting incoming calls. I tried for several days and the operator still kept coming on. So, I had no other way to get in touch with her because is the only number she had. And I did not feel comfortable showing up in person since I never met her. So, I got her address and wrote her a letter asking if she had any yorkie puppies. I left my phone number and return address. That was nearly 3 weeks ago. No phone call and she never wrote back. I know it did not get lost in the mail since I had the return address on it. It would of just got sent back to me. I thought that was rude and was upset about it. I understand people have busy lives these days as I do myself. But, it was not much to ask of 5 minutes of her time just to reply back. If she did not have any puppies, all she had to do was say so. I was very nice in my letter, so I can't see her getting upset with anything I had to say. Don't worry, Amy, I am looking everywhere for my yorkie puppy too. I have not had any luck in my local area. Been checking my paper everyday and no listings. The pet store is getting a shipment in February but selling them for $900. And there is no way we can afford to pay that much. Because even if I do find one in my local area, price is a huge problem. Most that were listed in my area awhile back where all selling for $900. |
Yeah i know how you feel to. my daughters friend had a yorkie and when i asked her where she got her from she said she couldnt remember! (yeah rite) :( so i was a little upset for a few weeks because we kept buying the paper but there never seemed to be yorkies in it until now and i cant stop thinking about her. (only one more day to go) :D i always think that things happen for a reason you wasnt meant to have him but you will find one it just seems to happen when you least expect it. i'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you and good luck!  Jetess :wavey: |
have you tried puppyfind.com? it's a great site. you choose the dog and then the state that you live in. That's where I was looking for a puppy for a while. |
