Snow in Mississippi!!! We had our 1st snow on Christmas in Mississippi in MANY years (I think before I was born...lol). Sophie LOVED it!!! I now understand the reason for boots for those furbabies who go out in snow...she had a lot of snow balls on her legs when we came in. They were hard to get out. Had to get the blow drier to them. Anyway, hope everybody had a very merry Christmas!!! My family had a great one! |
I wish it would snow here.... Maybe for just one day. Do you have photos? |
I'm glad it was you that had snow. LOL We had some last year on Chritsmas Eve and then after the first year we had about 14 inches which in my part of Texas usually doesn't happen and my girl's just went bonkers. |

I'm glad you enjoyed the snow....up here in New England some of us think it's a bit overrated when we are freezing and shoveling :) But I love the first snowfall each season, when it looks so pristine and pretty. |

Sounds like you had a beautiful white Christmas. We were watching the news last night and about how the deep south got snow and that it had not happened on Christmas day for 20 plus years. Hope you enjoy while you can. :) |
our first snow since 1963 here for Christmas is what the weather man said my girls didn't like it they would not get off the porch |
How awesome!!!........ SNOW for Christmas!!! Woot! |
Right now we're having our first big snowfall in NY. It's beautiful. My Bassets are outside playing in the snow. Our Yorkie Zach and our Shorkie Zoe came in pretty fast. It's supposed to reach 18 inches or more. Maybe I should put a flag on Zach's tale so I'll abe able to find him in the snow. |
I agree with 107barney. Although I am not in New England, just south of Cleveland, Ohio (in a secondary snow belt), we get our fair share of snow. The first snowfall is always the most beautiful and I have to admit that I like to have a little snow on Christmas - just seems right to have snow then. Hope you enjoyed your snowy Christmas! |
I love it when it snows :p but it didn't all the way here at the most southern part of Mississippi. I love the cold weather but my thin southern blood can't take it for too long. :D I'm always cold. Every couple of years we get a bit of snow flurries but not much sticks. Just as long as we don't have a white Christmas again it seems every time we do have a white Christmas we have a bad hurricane the next year. The Christmas before hurricane Camille in 1969 and hurricane Katrina in 2005 were snowy. |
So glad you and yours had a fabulous Xmas! You are lucky that your very beautiful Sophia likes the snow. Tess hates it but we are smack dab in the middle of a blizzard. |
