Hayley loves her new food!! I switched Hayleys food today. I leave a good distance fr the place where I can get good quality food so I wasnt sure which kind she would eat. I bought nutro ulta and chicken soup. She loves both of them. She likes chicken soup a lil better. I was wondering can I mix the 2? Does either one cause dry skin? Just happy to be off purina,I am sure if she tolerated that stuff then she should do good on anything. |
yes you can mix the two and no from what i've heard they don't dry out the skin. |
Im glad that Hayley loves the new kibble. I think is ok to mix the two foods. I think both are very good foods, way better than Purina. |
Im glad you found some thing she likes. My two are so pickey. |
Hayley loves her new food Im glad Hayley loves herr nnew food. Check the ingrrediants of it. If cORNN is the first ingrediant this can cause itching after a while. |
Ingredients most likely to cause a reaction in dogs are beef, soy, chicken, milk, corn, wheat, and eggs. Some pets with food allergies may have vomiting and diarrhea. http://www.fda.gov/fdac/features/2004/404_pets.html It is correct that the first ingredient shouldn't be corn. However, that is not the only product that can cause itching. Nor is food the only cause of itch. Sherry, I mix three different quality dry foods. They don't get as tired of one when you mix them. :) |
Oh I'm so glad she likes it. Purina isn't the best food. Yes, it's OK to mix them, I mix ours, I think they like it that way. :D |
