Big Day I'm so nervous. My little guy is in the docs sleeping off his anesthesia. He got fixed today and also had some teeth pulled. Poor guy, I tried to explain to him that it would be ok, but I feel just terrible. He's not going to understand why it hurts :( We cuddled in bed this morning before I had to get ready for work and I made the morning as nice as I could. But I can't wait until 2 when I can call to see how he is doing and hopefully pick him up at 3. He can go home and hubby is waiting to babysit until I get off work. I think these little guys are worse than when my kids were little!!!! |
I know. It's awful, isn't it?:( Please let us know how your lil guy is doing. |
Hope he's home now with you and feeling better. |
We all know how hard it is... It is crazy how much these pups have our hearts :) I hope he's home with you already and is beginning to feel better. Before you know it, he'll be back to his regular self! |
Thank you. Max came home that day. Had thought only two teeth extracted but ended up four. Took most of the day and night to get completely out of the anesthesia. He's back to his normal now and having great trouble keeping him calm. He wants to run and play and climb. Having to keep him in his ex-pen and he's not liking that. But we know it's best for him. I can't imagine someone telling me I have to stay in bed for days when I feel just fine!!! LOL Merry Christmas everyone! |
My boys were also back to normal in a few days. I'm sure if he is feeling well enough that it would be alright to let him play a little. :xmastree1:Merry Christmas :xmastree1: Jodi, Pebbles, Bogey and Doodlebug |
I'm glad he did well. I know how hard it is to keep them down when they want to run and jump and play!:D |
Zach had his surgery Last Saturday and had two baby teeth extracted. He was a little out of it the first day but now he's back to his Crazy self. I can't keep him still. I felt the same as you did when he went in. I think all moms feel the same way no matter how routine the surgery is. |
