This mommy does look like a Yorkie, though...I know you asked if we thought she looked like a "mutt". I can't say for sure because she is looking down in the pictures, but she does look Yorkie to me and so do the babies. |

Yes, you did...thanks so much! : ) I like all colors of Yorkies, so it wasn't a huge deal...was just curious. |
I think this is another example of what seems to be going on all too often lately. People with an "oops breeding" or a poorly marked yorkie are trying to pass them off to the unsuspecting people as Parti yorkies. Some are purposefully breeding a white-coated dog with a yorkie to get white into their lines. If you do get a parti -- research their pedigree. You can find some here on YT that will let you know if the lines go back to accepted parti lines or are more likely a figment of a greedy breeder's imagination. The female pictures might be all yorkie -- too hard to tell, but she is obviously not to standard and as such, should not be used for breeding. She should be someone's beloved pet and no more. I know it is easy to like all the colors and all the cute puppies, but pls do not contribute to an unscrupulous or poor quality breeder. |
