Nancy, thank you for helping me...you guys are the best :) It's sad that I had my hopes up for Izzy to have a friend and now they are shattered. But a lesson learned...for me & my dear husband, we will be more cautious when finding another breeder.

I have the AKC Yorkie pup we picked up from the breeder at 11 weeks...she was 2.7 lbs then and now weighing her at Vet yesterday she is weighing in at almost 3 lbs at 15 wks. She's the one that had all but one set of shots left and we took her to get them and also she had all wormings by 11 wks too. This breeder had excellent health records of shots given and wormings etc...and a nice packet in plastic vinyl for our records. Now the puppy that was born yesterday evening will be CKC and she is the breeder that says she doesn't want to give the pups shots or wormings and it's up to us as owner's to do this. Well, bottom line is, I not knowing any better has sunk 250.00 down payment into this puppy. That's the problem. Should I get this puppy and get her shots and wormings and take the chance of her coming into contact without any of her shots to my yorkie AKC pup? Or get the puppy get her shots then sell her? Or just forfeit my down payment? Geesh, I am so stupid for not being more careful, flags should have hit me in the face!!!! GRRRRRRrrrrrr:mad:

Yes, capt_noonie, I am open to knowledge and experience. That is why I came to join this forum. I realize all of you have the knowledge I haven't at this point. I am learning everyday by reading. Not defensive at all. Yes, 250.00 is a lot of money these days but I would rather forfeit now because I love the little 15 week old Yorkie I have now so much that I don't want to endanger her with what could come with a sick puppy. I'd never forgive myself if I did that.

I am off on the quest to find another breeder, because I really want a puppy to grow up with my Izzy. She is such a sweet puppy and I know when I see the puppy I want and the breeder I feel is legit, I will know it. Lesson learned.

I am having a hard time finding a breeder with YTCA that will sell their puppies without being spayed. Not to mention none of them are answering their phones & emails are being bounced back to me :( Getting discouraged about Izzy a sister now :confused:
