First time I told Kacee this morning I was going to get our coats. When I came back with them, she walked over to me and backed up so I could put her coat on her. She's 5 years, 8 months, and 6 days old and this is the first time!:D Tell me your first time for things. I might learn something!:D |
So cute! :D Poppy usually dosnt have a way of telling us she wants to go outside for potty so we have to watch for the signs (sniffing the floor). Last week I was putting her breakfast out and she pawed at the back of my leg then ran and pawed at the door. :D |

They have the biggest personalities I have seen in any other breed too, its so cute and so funny to watch. I remember a couple of days ago my older dog Jess stole one of Poppy's new toys which she got in the gift exchange. Jess stole the toy and ran away with it while Poppy sat looking at her with a sad look on her face, Jess is scared of squeaky toys so when she bit too hard on the toy and it squeaked she dropped it. Poppy looked at her, looked at the toy then began jumping on the toy over and over with a cheeky look on her face to make its squeak and Jess was terrified. LOL it was so funny to watch it was as if they were skin kids! |
How cute!! Well this happened this morning, I was shocked. Haha I was sitting on the couch eating breakfast, pnut was over in the kitchen eating his, I was watching him bc we are doing the whole potty traning 101, he walks away from his bowl he looks at me and starts walking down the hall, ( the look he gave me was pretty sneaky, I might add) I say "pnut, go potty" He stops in his tracks turns around and walks over to his pad and goes pee!! Its a miracle!!! LoL |

They really are more like kids than any other breed. You know, they say they are the most human-like and I've been convinced of it for a good long time! |

Even when Jess steals a treat from her she will run to me then run back and stand infront of Jess staring as if to say "MOM! Look what she's done!!" |

And Poppy can be so sneaky! she is very good at pretending she dosn't have anything in her mouth and then hiding her treasure for later. It wasnt that long ago I thought she had one of her dog biscuits in her mouth, so I said "Come and sit on mommy's knee and eat it" so she jumped up and spat out a big pizza crust! She must have found it in the garden! needless to say it went straight in the bin and she gave me the stink eye for the next hour LOL. |
That is so cute! When we go upstairs, I say "Pick-up?" and Barney will turn his butt toward us to assist. He's been doing that for years. Well the other day, I asked Teddy "Pick-up?" and he came over and gave me his paw. It may not have been quite right, but that's Teddy, and he understood I was going to pick him up. |

Ha-ha! You took the treasure she found! Kacee is very good at giving me dirty looks if I try to correct her or stop her from doing something.:D |

Like if she is barking and barking at a bird in the garden or her own relection in the window I will say "NO" and she will stop.. give me the stink eye and do a little growl as if to say "you always spoil my fun" LOL :p |

That's so funny -- I've noticed the same thing. This morning when I picked up Tallulah's sweater and harness to get her ready for Yorkie Camp, she did this little maneuver like she was backing into a parking place so I could pick her up correctly. Must be the season for miracles! |

Haha! Levi likes to "help" me put on his harness, sweaters, jackets, etc. It's too cute when he lifts his little paws. I always put his right paw through first, so after we get his head through, he starts lifting his right paw. I'm waiting for him to start dressing himself on cold mornings. :) The funniest "first" would be the first time I saw Levi pick up his harness with his mouth and bring it to me. Of course I took the little man on a long walk after that! That happened over the summer, and it's only happened a couple of other times, but it makes me laugh every single time! |

When I put Teddy's coat on him the other day, he became catatonic and looked so unhappy. Everything was okay once he saw his brother Max was putting his coat on too. I can't think of any recent firsts, but I did laugh the other day when I put medicine in Max's eye and Teddy came over and got into the pickup position for his turn. :p I love the way he submits because he thinks he should do everything Max does. |
