I think the reverse is true. As a breeder I'd prefer to interview my potential new families face to face, know where my pup is going to go and how they'll be treated. I prefer to place my pups locally, since I offer free grooming for the rest of their lives, it affords me the ability to see them first hand.

I was not surprised that you did not answer ANY of my questions but I am surprised at you insinuating or is it coming right out and accusing me of saying negative things "as a fact" or "implying underhanded comments!" Why don't you say what you mean instead of this vague accusation style? I have no idea what you are trying to get at. I have not made any comments about a particular person other than what I suggested you MIGHT want to re-evaluate. I have not said any particular breeder could or could not produce anything -- exceptional or otherwise. I have given my experience and my opinions on things to check into further. Why is that so threatening to you?

Free Grooming forever? I will just fly you out here every month.

What is this locally? Chicago is not that far, and we have an open door policy. You can come and check on them anytime.

I think we could make a nice little itinerary for Mary to schlep around the US and groom all of our new pups -- hope she plans several litters in the near future. ;) Here is a breeder that definately DOES NOT breed to sell puppies.

Now, now......don't take it personally........we've already talked and we know there will be a face to face.......

Heck! Now talk about a spoiled pup...having it's only personal groomer flown in monthly.

You know how reluctant I am when it comes to breeding even one litter a year, now you're talking several litters. Yikes!

I will do whatever it takes....face to face, phone, Video conference, carrier pigeon......When the day comes, I will make your short list! We will wait as long as necessary, but remember, none of us are what I would call kids....we still think young, but the body is just slower to react!

My carrier is actually about the same as when I shipped. She's wonderful.

Thanks everyone for the feedback...I've decided totally against the shipping. I was really weary about it in the first place, but figured it there were a lot of people who had great experiences i'd consider. I've decided to go ahead & spend the extra money to get a puppy close to home!! :)
