About their ears! Okay I know this might sound a little silly...but here I go! Rose will be 15 wks Weds. and her ears use to stand straight up, well we noticed yesterday her right ear was starting to droop. And today it is very noticeable. I was wondering if there is any thing I can do about it? Any help would be appreciated! I love my yorkie! :aimeeyork |
Most likely, she is teething and that affects the ears. They will probably go up and down a couple more times before she finishes teething. I wouldn't worry too much about it :) |
Well that is good to know! I was just couldn't figure out what happened! She is such a loving little pup! This is the first time I have ever owned a yorkie and I have been having good results with her so far! She is doing well on her potty training and some of the basic commands! My husband was a little skeptical at first...but she already won him over! You just got to love them! :) |
Haha! I am getting my first yorkie soon and his ears are floppy too! I'm pretty sure it's normal...I'm happy that potty training is going well for you...I'm hoping I have the same success as you! |
I've heard you can tape their ears if they aren't up but not sure how to do it. I was lucky my two furkids' ears were up when I got them and stayed up during teething. But floppy ears are so adorable too!!! |
Lol... She has little ears and when we got her they were up but just 2 days ago we noticed them drooping and this morning the one is practically down. She still is cute, but it looks comical too when she looks at me a certain way. All I can do is smile! I love my baby! |
Roxy's didn't stand up until she was about 4-5 mo old. First one came up, then the other about 1-1/2 weeks later. I was kind disappointed when the second ear came up, cuz she was so cute with one up and one down. I wouldn't worry about it. Some people do tape the ears, but I didn't know anything about that until after her ears were already up. Glad I didn't worry about it. I don't really know how necessary all the taping is. |
