I was walking to the mailbox getting my mail and of course I took Brandi with me. While I was getting my mail, I noticed Brandi had something in her mouth. At first I thought it was a piece of wood but upon further inspection, it turned out to be.....well you know. I think it was dog crap because it wasn’t that big, and there are a lot of little dogs that live across the street from the mailboxes. Anyway, I grab a piece of my junk mail and try to pulled it out of her mouth. I got part of it but the other part she ate…..ewwwwwwww. Talk about yuk mouth. Now her breath smells like dog crap and I don’t have any doggie toothpaste. She actually was walking up the street with dog crap sticking out her mouth. And now she has the nerve to wanna lick me.

Now I have to monitor her to make sure she doesn't get sick.

LOL Poppy eats her own poop sometimes too, then she will have the nerve to try and give me kisses!
I would be worried if it wasnt her own poop, because im pretty sure that if the poop belonged to a sick dog she could get the infection.
I would keep a close eye on her and if she acts different in any way I would call your vet for advice.

I will be keeping a very close eye on her. She just ate her mid day snack and now she is doing what she does best, curled up on her comforter and taking her mid day nap.

Nothing really, since I can't go to the store until later on, I just fed her an afternoon snack hoping it will at least neutralize the bad breath. Oh this really sucks cause she really loves giving mommy kisses.

She's looking at me now with those puppy dog eyes trying to get me to give in to her kisses. Not gonna happened. Those big brown eyes can't get to me this time.

Very good point. Max is a poop eater and he's also been feasting on Cooper's whenever he gets the chance (which is not often because I'm quick!). I know my two dogs have no diseases or underlying conditions, but you must be very careful about other dog's feces.
