Toys at bed time.... Do your Yorkies bring toys to bed? Mine sleep with us, and if Chewy forgets his toy, he jumps down, goes and gets a toy, then he paces around the bed a few times grunting and we help him back up. (He doesn't like to jump up with a toy in his mouth!) Then Sadie will often go get herself a toy!!!! They have t have a toy to sleep with! LOL:D |
HAHA that's a cute story. I mistakenly let Bonnie come to bed with a toy once. She played and chewed on it and I had to put it up. I am a very light sleeper and any noise or movement disturbs my rest. (yes, I know, I am a big baby) |
Mine doesn't sleep with a toy but my friend's bichon sleeps with a stuffed animal in his mouth!! |

Truffle always brings a toy to bed and yes, she does sleep with us. Its routine with her - she gets a few minutes of play time. It doesn't take long for her to get sleepy, so it isn't a problem for us. It is so cute - she jumps down if she doesn't have a toy, runs down the stairs to get one and then back up, then jumps on the bed and demands a little playtime. Me - I look forward to us all getting in bed each night and playing. |

my lil porscha has 5 things she has to have in bed 2 bully sticks her duck, her bear , and a her stuffed animal that is a yorkie pup, but she does not bring them to bed she sits and barks till i find all of them and i bring them and she wants nothing on the nightstand but the lamp , clock , house phone , and my cell phone , anything else and she will not stop barking till i clean everything off boy is she rotten or does she just have me trained right |
Rhia sleeps with her little purple monkey toy or her stuffed alligator toy. She brings them up on the bed and snuggles with them as she sleeps. She also likes to bring them to her blanket on the couch where she naps. |
Finnigan always has a favorite toy its changed maybe 4 times in 3 years. Right now its a stuffed pumpkin from Petsmart. We call the favorite toy his "baby" because he has to bring it everywhere including bed. He uses it as a pillow, grooms it,... and when Gwenni steals it he pouts. I think its so funny. If he doesn't have it at bedtime he paces. |
Rizzo has his little stuffed elephant, it usually takes a couple minutes and he's fast asleep. Last night he was a little restless though, thunder storm, he couldn't figure out a good spot to crash at, woke up this morning and he was resting between my legs curled up with his little elephant, haha. |
Eddie lost his toys-in-bed privilege when he bit me on the nose, mistaking me for his brother Jack getting too close to his toy. He lost his bed privileges altogether for a month or so. He's too much of a toy hoarder to be trusted in bed with them. |
Vinnie has never brought toys to bed, but Alex has brought his toys to bed a couple of times. Of course, then he wants to play, but we're usually able to get him to settle down and, yes, he will sleep with his toy at his side. It's very cute. |
Chachi brings his cuz ball to bed and squeaks it and it gets on my nerves because Im trying to go to sleep. I thought it was cute at first but not so much now |
Yes! Mine bring so many toys to bed there isn't always room for me! The worst is when I roll over on them and the squeaking wakes me up! Quote:
