I Just Got a Yorkie Hug - I Think
 
I was sitting in front of my computer with Sophie Kate on my lap facing the computer. All of a sudden she turned around, got up on her hind legs and rested her two front paws on my right shoulder and kissed me then laid her head on her paws.

I am not sure but I think I just got hug by a Yorkie and I kinda liked it.

Oh...that is so sweet...what a little darling she is. Zhoie likes to lay on my lap in my office while I'm working and she too, will just stand up and stretch to my neck, give a couple kisses and lay back down. It's the best feeling in the world! :D

:)Awe...those are the best. Maddie gives those to me when she wants her back scratched. Hmmm...wish I could hug the dh and get a back scatching out of it. :p

Awww! How precious! Coco never gives me hugs... (granted she's not a Yorkie, but she should still give me hugs) :(

You can train your dog to do this. I trained Cooper to give hugs. I say "gimme hug" and he'll come and do just that. We had a huge fight last night (possessive bully stick related) and when it was all said and done he came to me and gave a hug!

:( Carmel and Emma never give me any hugs!! Carmel just likes to lay on my lap (he's lazy). Emma likes to play fetch. Oh in the morning, Carmel will roll over and ask for tummy rub, he'll whine if he doesn't get it :rolleyes:

I spoil him all the time...but he doesn't return the favor! Where's my hug?? :confused: hehe:p

Yes, you just got a Yorkie Hug -- didn't it feel wonderful! Annie (my pup) already gives her hugs. It is usually as you described, when she is on my lap, and decides to almost crawl towards my face til she can give a lick and then she sort of puts her head against me. So sweet! She will nuzzle me like a kitten too and I get a kick out of that too. They have a way of telling us so much without using words! :D
