Floppy is fine Dinky has floppy ears. I know it's not the standard, but I love those floppy ears. Anyone else have a floppy-eared Yorkie?:animal36 |
I love Lexi's floppy ears too! She is too cute :P |
Our little guy is only 16 weeks but his ears are still floppy and no sign of them standing up at all. He may be a lifetime flopper too:D |
My baby's ears are floppy too. When he hears the doorbell or something that gets his attention (like the refrigerator door opening LOL) then they stand up. Floppy or straight up, yorkies are just too cute!!!!!! |
My T's ears were straight up long before I got her -- so I missed out on the floppy period. I think they're adorable. But then I think ALL Yorkies are adorable. |
1 Attachment(s) I've got a 6 month old flopper. |
1 Attachment(s) I was late shaving Penny's ears so she now has one flopper after trying to tape them at 6 months. |
My River has one up and one floppy. All I can think of when I see her look at me in a certain way is a posh voice with a British accent saying: "This is how they wear them in London Dah-ling". :D |
I LOVE my Chloe's floppy ears, and I dont care what anyone has to say about it  :p |
As you can see in my Avatar...my Oliver is a flopper!! lol I love his floppy ears!! Always have! :D |
Since Dinky is only 9 months, those ears may not stay floppy. We didn't think our Piper would ever grow into her ears....I still worry with a big gust of wind. :D |
1 Attachment(s) Chewie is a floppy! Quite floppy, and usually flipped inside-out. Here's one floppy ear, and his tongue just for good measure. |

i guess i have a flip flopper. He was floppy as a puppy, and they perked up when he got his first trim, but thet get weighted down easy i guess. When his ears were perky they stuvk out more like the gremlins in the movie.lol he's cute either way. |
My two wombmates...Baby's are up, Bug is floppy and both are equally cute... |
Bonnie is a very floppy little girl! She's a little fuzzy wuzzy too! RU's stand straight up and our new little Tinkerbelle has ears that stand up! No matter what kind of ears they're such cuties! |
2 Attachment(s) my buchi's ears are big :D they're like radars. its sooo sensitive. he was originally named dumbo by his mom's owner because of his ears. but he didnt seem to like it so i changed his name to BUCHI :D his ears are so big that they are so floppy but when he hears things, they stand up :D Attachment 331273 Attachment 331274 |
Yep, all Yorkies are adorable. Flipped or flopped, tailed or untailed, hair cut or no hair cut, clothed or unclothed, small or extra small. |
The Ears Will Decide I loved Brandy's floppy ears, but my husband wanted them to stand. He taped them when she was 6 months and they stayed up for a few days, but then down they went. We love her along with her floppy ears. I wouldn't want them any other way. |
Gatsby has standing ears but i love the look of the floppy ears |
Rhett's ears are at half-mast. Scarlett has the floppiest ears you could imagine, they didn't respond at all to taping. |
1 Attachment(s) Count Brooklyn in the floppys. At 6.5 months she has one total flop and one at half mast. They only stand if she's looking up. She's my floppy eared, cottony coated, too big for breed standard baby girl and I love her to pieces. :D |
Bella has those floppy ears also. She came that way. :) Such an innocents about them. |
Thor's ears stand up, but I think floppy ears are adorable. My favorites are the half masts. :) |
Poppy is 6 months old and her ears arnt REALLY floppy but they dont stand. They just flop over a little bit at the end. All yorkie ears are beautiful. :) |

We just got a rescue puppy over the weekend - two floppy ears. Our other Yorkie was one up and one down. I do seem to prefer the floppy ears...just concerned about ear care as I found that Beavis had ear infections in the one that flopped. Any advice? I would post a picture of Baxter's floppy little ears...but can't seem to figure out how. |
