I actually had to stop after part 2 get up dry my eyes and walk around a little before i could finish the rest im still a little teary |
sorry I apologize that it came in 3 parts. Being new to YT I figured that it would post right away, and I could just reply to my thread to finish it. I had no intentions of leaving you all hanging. I hope that you enjoyed it. I have read this numerous times and everytime I get teary eyed. I know how much everyone on here loves their animals that I felt I needed to share. Hope everyone has a great weekend. |

OK we should have a poll at how many got through this without tears! And while I was reading it my Lab Hope was nudging my hand with her nose! Let's hope all the Tanks have their owners return to them! |
I cried as I read this. Such a moving story about this person that bravely served our country and gave up his beloved fur kid. So sad that his former owner, lost his life while serving overseas. |
Loved it. Thanks for sharing. No dry eyes here either. |
Thanks I'm sobbing at my desk and my co-workers think I'm crazy. Great story especially for "Vets Day". |
This is a great story and no dry eyes here either! Tank's previous owner is surley a HERO. Thanks to his new owner he will have lots of love and I'm sure Tank will know what a great man he was. |
I'm crying too |
Pass the KLEENX!!!:cry2: |
Thx for sharing! |
really sad story read it once before. unfortunately it's not a true story. but still a very good and touching one. someone has a wonderful way with writing to come up with such a tale. |
I copied it and e-mailed it to my husband with the subject "keep a tissue nearby". He said he thought "yeah, right". Then he said - "Uhm - yeah - I needed one". |
Thank you for the beautiful story that honors veterans! |
