Help my pup is a wee ahlcolic ! Help my 11 week old darling pup Fudge ! will have a wee every 6 or 7 minutes is this how often she should be peeing ! When we see her squatting we rush over, but unfortunately we seem always to be too late ! She does have a litter tray, which she sometimes uses on the odd occasion. However I came home from shopping to find her asleep in her litter tray !! |
awwwwwww!~ Awwwwwww!that must of been so adorable, seeing her sleeping in her tray! They can be so funny some times! :p |
I think weeing every 6 -7 minutes is too frequent. How often is she drinking water? You may have to limit her water intake until you get her bladder under control. Puppies at that age should be able to hold it at least a 1/2 hour. But should have to go almost immediately upon drinking and eating. |
this is what I have heard Well, I have heard that Yorkies are one of the hardest to train, and so far no luck here with Dollar. He does the same thing...however on here I have heard that 7 is the majic nunber and once they reach 7 months that they listem more....I guess that means 4 more months of stinky pee house for me! lol  |
Are you sure your yorkie is finishing the pee when you get to her? Maybe she gets scared when you run towards her so stops. But then, as soon as you're not reprimanding her she finishes. (repeat) Maggie does this on occasion. |

This is a very valid point. When you take her out to potty, have her go more than once to make sure her bladder is completely empty. This does happen quite frequently. ;) |
When Mine was real little my little boy seemed to pee a lot . I know its hard to keep an eye on them every sec. keep peepad close untill they get a little bigger. |
It seems like Kacee peed every 5 minutes when I first brought her home, but then again it was so hot all summer and she'd drink so much water then. It eventually slowed down though. Thank goodness! It can be exhausting! :D |
