PLEASE flag this Craigslist ad!!! It takes multiple flags to get an ad removed, help me please? This guy keeps posting this ad, day after day:mad: Thanks in advance:love: http://treasure.craigslist.org/pet/2044284382.html We have 2 very small teacup yorkie puppies that are genuine that will be ready just before Christmas.......... December 10th will be ready to go ......... Their mommy is 2lbs full grown and she's mine and here with her babies. ........ They will be very small and are purebred actual teacup Yorkies..... The will weigh no more then 2 lbs full grown Weight is 4.6 oz and 6 oz as of now at 3 weeks.. The number is 772 801-7559....... I We will have contracts and be taking deposits now. If you would like to see them you can just let me know when you would like to come by I'll send pictures to those interested of seeing the parents |
I keep seeing them post too. The poor female dog is only 2 lbs. |

The ad has been removed, I really don't believe that the mother is a two pounder, and for any newbies that are thinking of calling the telephone number in the ad, there is no way you can predict the size of a fully grown dog. It is really dangerous to breed a dog under 5 pounds, and even then you can't predict the size of adult offspring. |
I need to keep myself from looking on CL because it just drives me crazy. A couple of days ago I found an ad in Orlando for a month old female yorkie for $90. I replied and didn't get an answer. I didn't want the poor thing (if not a scam) to end up with someone who didn't know how to bottle feed. I was tempted to answer the ad you're talking about to see if it was a scam, but it looks real...just stupid people who are breeding dogs way toooooooooooooooooo smallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll!!!!!!! I'm just north of you in Palm Bay. |

If you read the unofficial criagslist flagging faqs, it says that once an ad gets flagged, each time it becomes easier and easier to get it flagged with less flags. They would have to significantly change the ad or use different email address and phone numbers to get around it. So keep flagging and hopefully they will give up. It wastes a lot of time trying to keep up with ads that the CL community keeps flagging. |

I find it hard to believe someone bred a 2 pound female, but I wouldn't be surprised if they tried. Sad, very sad! Good catch to report the ad and get it off. If nothing else, at least it is not giving other people ideas! |
She has been reposting for as long as the puppies were born and I think that is 3 weeks. The female is 2 lbs and the dad is 4 lbs at over $1,000 each obo. Both parents are not AKC. |
It is simply horrible that someone would breed a dog that small. Obviously they have no consideration for the well being of the mother is she is nothing more that a "Golden Goose" for that GREEDER. :mad: They cannot predict the actual size of the animal. and it just "irks" me when someone says "teacup Yorkie purebreed" :mad:THERE'S NO SUCH THING! :mad: Okay, sorry...rant over. :) |
