Lost Yorkie - Lowell, MA Hello, first let me apologize if I am breaking any rules... I will be honest... and I really did not read them... I figured most of them are common sense, the do on to others as you would have done on to you... I'm at my witts end... My 6 month old yorkie is LOST:(. My daughter came home yesterday in middle of day... and somehow when she walked out to get something she forgot in her car... she did not close door all the way behind her... Max followed her out.. she came back in and noticed within 10 to 15 minutes that he was gone. I came home right away and have searched the neighboorhood on foot and by car. I have posted close to 100 flyers within 2-3 mile radius. I have called the shelters and such. He is microchipped..but I have heard stories about does not being able to be read at all.. If you live in the Lowell, MA area and hear about a found yorkie please let me know.. I live on Chelmsford Street near the Plain street Intersection. If you have any advise... please let me know. Thank you. |
I'm so very sorry. I'm sure you're heartbroken. Please read the following link to see if there is anything you haven't done or might help you find your yorkie: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...st-yorkie.html |
Oh my goodness.........how horrible. This almost happened to me the other day also, but my scared little (9 months old) puppy did not go far and came back crying at the door. Thank God! I did cry when I opened the door and saw him - knowing what could have happened. I pray you find your little guy soon. |
No you are not breaking any rules that I am aware of - and I have read them:) I pray for your little ones safe return. Please keep us updated. if he is microchipped through Home Again they can also get a message out through their petrescuers group. make sure you alert all the vets offices in your area - put posters up in them. Hope he is home soon. |
Oh no, good luck finding him!!!!!!!!! |
I am so sorry to hear you've lost your baby. Praying for his speedy return. Good luck. |
Check or post on Craigs list. I always check on there and there was a yorkie for sale in Peabody, but it was posted a few days ago. Always check the for sale adds, you never know, not to worry you. Maybe someone found him and are searching for you! You must be sick with worry! Will pray you find him soon! Keep us posted! |
O noooo all our worst fears....I am so sorry, and am praying for his quick return home...have you talked to all the neighbors? keep a good listen he may be hiding, cause he is frightened....Oh I hope he is returned home to you quickly! {{hugs}} |
Have you called your local news paper to run a lost add ? Also call as many vets offices in your area as you can and give them the info. Also please don't just call the shelter, you must go in and look for your dog. Many people who work in shelters have no clue about what breed is what and dogs are mislabeled all of the time. |
I hope your baby is found safe and sound. |
Hi everyone, I am so HAPPY to say that Max was found and was returned to me this morning. Thank you so much for your advise, prayers and support! Marta |
Glad to hear a very happy outcome. I know how happy you must be that your little pup was found and reunited with you. |
Praise God!!! You must be so relieved. Peggy, Monkey & Maddie :daisy: |

:cheer: So happy to hear that Max was found and returned!! |
