Good Lord:eek: I certainly didnt mean to offend or start anything. I am not one to stir the pot. Perhaps I should have worded it differently. Anyone who knows me knows that I Do not start drama. I have been here a long time and never have been a trouble maker. I did not mention any names or costumes. :(:(:(:( In fact as soon as I realized it..I started thinking of other costumes I could throw together for pictures. YOU are right LadyJane..this is for fun. Sorry if I spoiled it for you in anyway |
I love all the pups in their costumes, doubles or not.....but I do have one question for all of you - how in the world do you get your yorkies to pose for the pictures!! OMG!! I must have taken 50 pictures last night of Trixie in her costume some with the pretty background some just on the floor .... what a little stinker she is!! (and there were three of us trying to get her to pose) The 3 pictures I posted where the only ones that came out even a little decent. I had other outfits, but just couldn't put her into them. She wouldn't sit, she wouldn't stay and she was really not feeling her costume at all. I would finally get a good picture and then the headpiece would be off.....kudos to all you great photographers out there!! :animal-pa |

1- PLAY PLAY PLAY! Get them nice and tired. 2- Pick a quiet place. It's easiest when you have just one yorkie. :) 3- THE BRIBE! Something super yummy always works for me. A also take his pic with no one else around. Too many people, too much stimulation, too much distraction, you get an antsy baby. This is what works for me. |
We've discovered that Harley is way out of his league, so I'll later post some pics on here... being his first halloween, we kinda wouldn't keep the costume on, so despite the fact that it's adorable, not a single picture turned out, lol. But we won "funniest costume" at Bark and Fitz today. |
I am loving all the pictures. I also figured with Moka being a witch there would be other witches. I don't think somone should not enter just because there is already a witch posted. And about the pictures, Moka is super easy for posing. When I tell her to stay, she over does it, she does not move! So much so, that I try and use a treat to move her head just where I want it...and she only moves her eyes. LOL. She is sooo funny. Of course, I'm still working on Mylee. Great costumes everyone! Loving them. I am so glad I am not a judge. |
Well today, not a single photo turned out, I'll try again tomorrow to find something that'll work for the contest on here. But here is my best shot from today at the local shop's costume contest... Login | Facebook |
loving all the cute yorkies in their costumes! |
Aww heck. Someone else is in Beemer's exact costume. It isn't going to stop me. The fun is dressing them up and trying to get a cute picture. We didn't post tonight because we went to a Halloween party with 16 dogs! They are too beat now to take pictures. By the way Prince Charming you are adorable. Guess what Beemer's going to be? |
I'm no good at adding files and pics. Is there a way to add as a thumbnail? I tried to add as an attachment, but can't see it in the reply like the rest. I didn't want to submit until I got it right. Help |
Okay, I figured it out. I guess. I love this contest and wanted to post when I saw last years. It was nice to celebrate another halloween with Fletchie this way. |
OMG! Darlene, your 80's bad boy is adorable!!! |
