Thanks everyone! I brush them out each day for a quick brushing and redo of their topknots. Once a week they get a thorough brushing and washed every 2 weeks. Pixie and Nikki are wash and wear. Cali and Roxie are very hard to keep up. But I love the lonh coats.

Wow. What pretty dogs. You do well with their long, flowing hair. I only have one and she's in a puppy cut most of the time!

Gorgeous babies! Simply gorgeous. Out of curiosity.......are the two in the middle in picture 2 - the youngest of the 4?

they're so beautiful I love their coloring and pretty long hair. They all look like they are smiling to.

That's Roxie and Cali. Roxie with the purple bow is the youngest. She just turned 3 this month. Cali in the red bow is 5 1/2 and Pixie without a topknot will be 5 in January. Pixie and Roxie are from the same breeder. Nikki, a rescue is estimated to be 16 years of age.

They are just beautiful, Patti. It looks like they enjoyed the weather. I wonder if Nikki is getting cataracts? I imagine Carol is looking down and smiling at her Nikki being cared for so very well.

Nikki has Nuclear sclerosis and cataracts. Could that be why he squints when in the sun? I know Carol is watching over him and enjoying him from above. Thanks

I'm betting that if you do a bit of research you might find that the sun hurts his eyes because he has cataracts and/or the nuclear sclerosis. Perhaps your vet would know. Maybe it's time for sunglasses!

I looked a little online last night after you mentioned it and I couldn't find anything about sun sensitivity but will keep looking. I will also ask my vet. Thanks

I was wondering which of your girls was which. :) They're all so beautiful, I love seeing pics of those sweet faces. And Mr. Nikki always melts my heart.
