My little man Zeus hates when my husband... hugs me, kisses me, or even touches me. He is very loving towards my husband but turns into a vicious animal when my husband shows any affection towards me. We tested Zeus once while he was asleep. My husband put his hand on my thigh and Zeus woke up in a rage. He barked and growled fericiously and lunged at my husbands hand. It's all very menacing, but he never bites. If my husband is sitting next to me, he doesn't have a problem. Do you have a male yorkie that does this? How do I fix this problem? |

Hi Joan! I've heard of other dogs doing that but haven't experienced it. If he was mean to your husband ALL the time, I'd consider having hubby take over all the care for the dog for a while -- feeding, walking, letting outside. Let the dog know that hubby is also in charge. But since he's nice to him some of the time, maybe you're already doing that? I'll poke around and see if I can find anything. |

I had the same problem with Macy when my Pappy was around. Macy ADORED my Pappy. Every time I saw Pappy, Macy was with him. I don't remember one single time when I saw Pappy, Macy wasn't there. She was always with him. Whenever we gave my Pappy a hug, a kiss, whatever, she would get really raged too. She doesn't bite, but she didn't like it whenever we touched him. Unfortunately my Pappy passed away almost 3 years ago and we never got to teach her how to stop. |
Toby is the same way but it's when we pay attention to our other dog, Speedy. He starts barking wildly and butting his way in. We just firmly tell him STOP and are still working on it. He thinks he should get all the attention. He's very jealous! |
Well this will save you money on birth control pills |
