Howl-a-ween Costume Contests!
 

I am so excited!

Today we had TWO "Howl-a-ween" Costume Contests at Two Pet Stores to attend.

We (my husband, me and both pups) left here earlier today to go to the first contest. Entered Princess and Ty. Everyone at this store said there is NO WAY anyone will top Princess's costume! She was soooo cute! Ty was cute too!

We had photos taken of both pups. They both got very nice goodie bags and gifts for attending.

Went home, had lunch and got ready to go to the 2nd contest at the 2nd store. Me, my husband and daughter went to this one.

We had photos taken, was given a nice frame to go with the photos. Also we received a nice gift bag with treats, dog food samples, etc. While we waited until the costume parade I found several cute costumes for both dogs for next year for really great prices. Then we had the costume parade. I was asked for Princess's name. I knew then, she must be winning something.... maybe? Maybe not?

First place went to someone that dressed up with their dog as Batman. They won a HUGE container of "Greenies". Then 2nd place..... Princess... WON!!!! Yipee!!! I was so excited for her! She won a large bag of "Greenies" for Petite dogs.

We paid for the costumes for next year and left the store. Thanked everyone for the prize Princess won.

On our way home I called the other pet store to find out if either of our dogs won. Ty won.... FIRST PLACE!!! He won a HUGE tin filled with food samples, ALOT of treats of various types. A collar with matching leash. A frisbee, scarf for his collar, note pad, a few small toys and a few other things. All inside this HUGE tin that we can use to store their food in.

I am so excited both dogs won today! They are both going to share their prizes.

Princess was so worn out after our long day. But she had so much fun! And so did Ty. He really enjoyed being around other dogs. He was very well behaved and seemed to enjoy our outings today!

Tomorrow we may be attending one more Howl-a-ween contest at one of the local shopping malls. This event they are also raising $$$ to help with one of the local shelters.

I plan to call to find out more details.

WOW....they both are WINNERS! What a fantastic and fun day you all must have had. I bet their little butts are wore out though....I know mine would be. LOL. :D
