Hi YT family! Cerise and I went bike riding earlier this evening. I need to loose some weight. I bought the Snoozer bicycle seat for her in pink and she loves it. I found this picture today of Audrey H. while clicking through some bicycle blogs and it was inspiring. Her Yorkie even resembles Cerise in that basket :) It said in the blog that she rode often and also often with her Yorkie. She is one of my idols and I thought I'd put it here and share the Yorkie love.

That's so funny! I've been riding my bike alot here recently and have been looking around for a basket for Lucy.

I was looking at a wicker basket that you can line and pad - but wondering how you like the Snoozer baslet? Is that the one that attaches with straps instead of being permanently mounted?

Man, that is one classy lady and one classy bike! they don't make Schwinns like that anymore.

Her yorkie was named Mr Famous. :)

Uni likes riding in the basket too. This is her basket. I made the liner. the front drops down so she can lay down and still see out.

Where in the world can you ride in Austin, TX that is safe! Just kidding.:D When I think of Austin, I visualize I-35 all the way through Austin and the traffic is horrendous! I live in Waco, but visit Austin quite a bit. I have a niece that lives in Cedar Park.

I, too, would like to know if you like the Snoozer. I'm buying a bicycle next week since the weather has cooled down a bit and want to take Betty Boop.

Aww..I love Audrey Hepburn! I learned recently that she had a yorkie that she took everywhere. Thanks for sharing :)

What a great picture :) I have always loved Audrey Hepburn. I hope to get a bike with a basket someday :p I think it would be a lot of fun to ride with my two.

The Snoozer is good so far. It has multiple pockets and even one for a water bottle. It attaches with the straps on the handle bars and has a rain cover for just incase ;)

LOL! Austin has plenty of bike lanes now. They are on their way to becoming like Portland...a serious bicycling city. We have so many bike commuters here.
I use to be one but then I bought my car 3 years ago and got lazy...and started putting on the pounds :rolleyes: My bike sat up for 3 years and I just had it tuned up. I want a new one. A classic Pashley Princess Sovereign. I finally found a business that sells them in the USA. British Bicycle and I'm going to get one for Valentine's Day from me to me with LOVE...LOL

I really want to commute on bike more since I've returned to school and live so close to great things in Central Austin.

OMG the Pashley! :drool: My bike is actually a copy of a Pashley. We saw their booth at the Interbike show last month. I was afraid to look dumb and ask if those were retail prices or wholesale prices!

See my fake Brooks saddle on it? lol. At least it's real leather.

Your bike is nice! ;) Looks beautiful and a great copy!

I've had a man style 1996 Raleigh comfort bike...since 1996 LOL I have wanted a Pashley since the 80's when I saw one in person (imported in of course) and I am finally going to break down and buy one. I'm telling my age with all these years in print :cool:

Hi Aunty Cindy! Cerise sends you a big kiss! She loves riding but it's still warm here. I can't wait for the temp to drop a bit and we are in sweaters.

Looking at your Avatar pic, Cerise is absolutely stunning! I bet the two of you riding along are a traffic stopper. She looks a lot like her sister Fern now known as Punkie
