Hope you were able to buy one.

I am just like that too, about getting ideas on YT, then buying. :) It is still novel to everyone around me and love how creative YT members can be.

had a late doctor's appointment (4.30) so I suggested to Bruce that we eat at Cracker Barrel on the way home as we hadn't been there in several years (he didn't know I had an ulterior motive:D)
They had three left, and with the discount they were $11.24 each plus tax, so we got two of them. I am going to put one each side of the hearth.

I went with my Mom to Cracker Barrel a while back and I soooo wanted this but couldn't afford it. Well, I was having a terrible week and my mom went back there for lunch with her friends yesterday. She found it and bought it, then proceeded to sneak into my apartment while I was at work and placed it on my kitchen table. I was so surprised but so excited to have my first piece of Yorkie holiday decor! (Besides Christmas ornaments! :)

No, mine was out....BUT I called all the surrounding Cracker Barrels and nope, all gone.

Voila....called the one in Morgantown, 2.5 hrs away and they have one!! YAY. Not having them ship though, my daughter is going there on Friday, so she will pick it up for me. They said they would hold it. Told you, I'm a real sicko with this, can't wait to get it. LOL

When I first glanced at the picture, I thought it was really neat the way you got her to hold the pumpkin. :D Very cute!

After 40 years with the guy you learn a few tricks:)

I know this is a little offtopic - but another neat trick is you buy yourself a new outfit and leave it in the trunk of the car (this only used to work when I was able to drive). Then a few days later you bring it in and tell your husband you just picked it up at the cleaners:D

Also helps if you have a friend who has the same outfit as you sometimes. I had a good friend (passed away a few years ago unfortunately) but she owned a boutique and often I bought clothes that were the same as some she personally owned. I had put one new dress on one day and my youngest daughter said "Another new dress Mom?" Before I could say anything my husband, bless his heart, told her that I had had it a while, in fact I had wore it the previous month. LOL - he had seen the identical dress on my friend, so he was remembering seeing it before and thinking it was on me:).

Cracker Barrel did have these on their website...I have not checked lately to see if they are still there.
