Does your baby have a hiding spot.lol I was vacuuming and I noticed this tiny spot behind the couch that held a ton of treasures . Daisy looked at me like MINE , proceeded to go in and lay on top of everything.lol She Had : One of Jagger's soothers Jagger's Chewy( Jagger is Autisic, and likes to mouth everything) Socks I have been missing mates for. A webkinz Doll blanket. lol What a horder. |
Mine uses the front room in plain sight on the sofa or right around it. When she is through playing and doesn't want someone to get her toy:rolleyes: she'll take the toys in there. |
Roxie hides things under my bed. |
I think Beamer's hiding place is under the shed! Just wish we could get under there to check it out. |

Tia's is under one of her bed pillows. You know she has something hidden if you walk near them and she tries to get to the pillow first. Ally has never hidden things...as far as I know. |
Yes!! Poppy hides everything under the cushion/matress thing in her bed. Sometimes she will hide under there too. When I tidy her bed up I always find random toys, treats, socks, hair scruncies and stuff under there.. she then looks at me with a look on her face that can only be described as "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!":eek::eek: |
Taylor's hiding spot is behind our recliner. Any tidbits of things he knows he's not suppose to have, can be found there along with his dingo bones and treats he didn't eat immediately. I think the last time I pulled the chair out, there must have been a couple dozen bones back there. LOL. Beth and Taylor:animal36 |
Levi hides things under my bed! He is the only one that can fit under there (obviously, it's a tight squeeze for my brother or me to get under there, and my brother's dog is too big as well) and he revels in that knowledge. He hides his favorite toys and everything he "snatches" under my bed...and when he doesn't want us to "catch" him (like if he knows it's bathtime) he runs and hides himself under there! It is soooo funny :D until I can't grab him when I actually need him! |
Mickey likes to bury things (Yams, Bully Sticks, Toys) in our bedding and behind the pillows on the couches. He is such a silly little guy!:p Bully Sticks in the bed means I have to change the bed-YUCK! LOL |
I know he has one, I have yet to discover it though, many of his toys go missing, or when he wanders off he'll return with a sock that I'd been looking for for ages...eventually I will find it, I guess its about time to start moving furniture around, maybe I'll find it then...haha |
Eddie would take one of my husbands socks at a time under the bed to his hidey hole until I would finally wash socks and realize there were hardly any mates. As soon as I started digging under the bed he would zip under it and lay on the pile of socks, giving me his "don't you dare" look. He was so spoiled I would usually substitute one of my hubby's unwashed t-shirts for the socks. |
Mine hide under my bed, towards the center just out of my reach :) |
Milli likes to hide things too....but she has LOTS of hiding places. The office is 'her room' and Skye is only allowed in once in a while so Milli knows she can snatch Skye's toys and bring them to the office for safe keeping. I'll wake up in the mornings and find a pile of Skye's toys by my office chair and an innocent looking Milli. Poor, sweet Skye...she just stares into the room with her forehead all wrinkled up, as if to say, 'Could I please have my toys back, Ma?' |
Morgan 'hides' things in any available corner. Floor, couch, crate, it's all fair game. Very rarely is it actually covered but the funniest part is he'll go through his 'putting dirt on it' routine even though it's tile or fabric. I always worry he'll get rugburn on his nose. |
Winnie hides everything under the bed, I looked under there the other day because she had something in her mouth and she ran under there, there was toilet paper all ripped up, an empty bag of cookies (I dont even know where she found that from lol) bones, toys, shoes, socks. Man she's a little hoarder  |
Deuce loves to dig Deuce hides his stuff in any soft area he can find. Bed pillows, throws or in his crate. One he hides them and he his happy he takes them out and does it all over again. He keeps himself very busy. |
OMG i thought i was the only one!!! i'm so happy to hear you guys have yorkies that have weird hiding spots with socks! lol manolo has a special hiding spot behind the couch too!!! ONE time i had a huge scare though, she must have been sleeping really good behind the couch in the dog room, and once i came in i was calling her and i didn't hear her, so I started panicking and i called my DH and was yelling manolo is missing!!!! i went outside and started yelling her name, and then once i went back into the dog room - here she comes all sleepy eyed coming from behind the couch. Oh she scared me to death!!! But yeah, she likes it there and finds all kinds of things and what not. she's definitely sneaky for socks. If not my couch, she loves under my bed too digging for all kinds of stuff. Oh these funny yorkies. |
When I had my first Yorkie, Scooter, it was back in 1979 and if they made piddle pads I didn't know about it. I had also not had obedience training. I was trying to train her to paper so when she would poop on the bare floor I would pick it up and make sure she saw me put it on the newspaper and tell her good doggie, then pick it up and throw it away, praising her constantly. It didn't take long and there was no poop appearing on the floor, just a puddle once in awhile. She was asking to go out all the time and we had great walks. Then I pulled the couch out one day to vacuum. There lined up along the wall behind the couch was a row of tiny puppy droppings. When she had an accident, she was picking them up herself and disposing of them the only way she could. My husband just looked at it and said, "That dog is too smart. We're in trouble." |
Sandy hides everything under our bed and behind the sofa... his precious treats we give him which he'll keep for later, our socks, tissue papers and the list goes on. |
