Going to pull my hair out I am a bit upset with my 2 year old yorkie Sully. When he was a puppy he developed the nasty habit of eating his poop. After many trials and tribulations as well as pineapple, pumpkin, banana - you name it I tried it - he finally stopped. That was until 3 weeks ago! He seems to have picked up this nasty habit again. But here's the twist - he's not eating his own poop. He's eating my 5 month old puppies poop! I keep them in separate rooms during the day (with the help of a baby gate) but at night, I let them stay together in the kitchen when it looked like the puppy was holding it all night. Much to my surprise - when I first saw the evidence of the "crime" I thought the puppy was eating his own...but after further investigation...and separating them again for a few nights - it seems that Manny - hates the poop - cause he leaves it. I put them back together at night and the evidence points to Sully. Not sure what to do. I'm ready to pull my hair out. Why did he start this again? |

What kind of food are you feeding them? Sometimes dogs eat their poop cause the ingredients in the food you are feeding doesnt digest properly. |

They both eat Wellness. I think it's more of a psychological thing because he did it when he was a puppy and then he stopped at about 6 months and then he just started again when I let him and the new puppy spend their nights together. |
