What a lovely day
 

Sorry for starting a new tread AGAIN i think i have about 3 on going haha! Oops:rolleyes:

BUT i had to tell you about my day with Poppy. (might lighten the mood on this forum)

So i got back home after work at 3pm and me, OH and Poppy went for a walk around my little town. Being a Sunday it was not busy. I wanted to get Poppy used to the noise of cars and people walking past as she is starting to get the hang of walking on the lead. As she is so small her little legs go ten to the dozen walking along side me, she is so funny :p

So after a nice walk around the town and park me and OH thought lets take her to the field and throw the ball for her for a little bit. We got to the field and she was so excited runnig through the leaves and stuff it was amazing to watch. She was off the lead and i had some treats in my pocket and would shout ''Poppy come'' and when she came running she would get a treat ;). I was throwing the ball and she would run after it but she didnt bring it back once but hey it got me and OH running around like mad people after the ball haha.

This woman came over and said how cute Poppy was :p which of course i agreed hehe! Poppy was soacking wet full of mud and i loved every second of watching her get so excited!!!!!!

We are all back home now and Poppy is fast asleep in her ''new'' fur bed near the heater (not so close where it would catch on fire btw haha) She looks so tired i dont really want to wake her up but shortly will be bath time (sunday night is bath night) and she shall be all smelling sweet ready for the fun to start again tomorrow :D

I have had the best day with her :D i had to share because i cant stop smiling xxxxx

Aw sounds like you had a fab day! take photos next time I would love to see them :D

Hehe i have got pictures. Well two because i couldnt keep her still long enough haha! I will get OH to upload them :)and post them on here now :D xxx

Sounds like a a beautiful day! So glad to see a positive, happy thread after some others. Poppy had a good time; what a lucky girl she is!!

Sigh. We are stuck inside on this gorgeous day; catching up with work and paying bills AND taking Granddad out to eat tonight, so we can't get dirty or sweaty.

BUT YESTERDAY, we went on a fabulous four mile walk on this spectacular, tree-lined trail right in our neighborhood. So pretty and you don't have to worry about cars, etc. Lucy and Ringo were in heaven. I tried to carry Lucy a bit, thinking she might be tired; but she was having none of it.

I'm hoping to get home in time to do it again before it gets dark.

Poppy is all wet and covered in mud haha so please dont think she normally looks like this LOL :rolleyes::p
