Just wanted to share!
I made Coco a new toy and she loves it! I have the Knifty Knitter and I was going to make a baby hat but it turned out to be a toy.
The directions come with the loom and I followed them, until the end. I took all the yarn off the pegs and then instead of pulling it tight to make a hat, I left it loose and then took some stuffing from her other toys and put it in there. Then I took A water bottle and cut it, so her toy would make sound. Then once it was filled I took the end of the thread and wove it in and out to create a circle-like shape. I will attach a picture. It doesn't look super great, but hey it's a toy. Also, sorry for the bad quality, it was taken with my laptop webcam. If anyone has the Knifty Knitter you should try this! Like I said, she loves it, the only thing is, is that while I was typing this , she destroyed it. She is extremely aggressive with her toys though, so it could hold up for some of your babies.
If anyone makes this let me know!
Also, if anyone makes their babies homemade toys, how do you do it? I want to start making her toys since she destroys them in seconds and I don't want to keep spending tons of money on toys that she destroys in seconds. Any advice? :animal-pa http://s1022.photobucket.com/albums/...0922-12-30.jpg |
