I have a lot of friends on my Facebook that are involved in rescue. Today there was a little Morkie in the Miami Dade Shelter that really caught my eye. She was listed under Scruffy Dogs MDAS. This is a HIGH KILL SHELTER. :( She reminds me so much on some other little Morkie that was also in a shelter......my Bogey. The second picture is the day that I brought Bogey home from the shelter. But look at him now!

Thank you everyone for your nice comments about Bog. My point in posting it that there are so many wonderful little dogs in shelters. When you see them you have no idea what is under the mats and dirt they might have while sitting in their cage in a shelter.

Over the past few days there have been several posts about Morkies. We here you go. She is a perfect example of a Morkie in a shelter. She's gorgeous and in real danger of not making it out alive. :(

Hopefully, if one person sees this and it changes their mind about looking to shelters and rescue for a new addition.

Jody. Yes, I agree. All mine were scruffy little dogs no one wanted to take a chance on and now they are wonderful and beautiful and so greatful that I did take a chance. They have paid me over and over ten fold.

Oohhh thank you. Everything I see your avatar and those big eyes looking at me I always think the same thing :D

I wish I was closer to this little girl. I'd snatch her up in a heartbeat! :(

Isn't it amazing to see how they transform into beautiful little pups with a little TLC. I have the closest bond with my Bogey. He's curled on my lap right now and when he looks into my eyes its like he is looking into my soul. I've never had that kind of love from a dog before. :luvu: It's amazing!

Well, thank you, too. The eyes always got me, too.:)

I can't believe she won't find a home. She's going to be pretty when her hair grows out.

It is a network of shelter pullers that post pictures of dogs all day every day on "death row" all over the country. I'm hoping that she has a hold and will be rescued this weekend.

Like I said, my point in that there are some very pretty dogs in shelters looking for homes and my post was more for awareness. I will keep everyone posted if I get word that she had been pulled and is safe.
