grrr I think spraying them with a hose is just wrong! I would love to see someone hose him down at 10p.m. when he mows the grass. |
I had a neighbor that called the humane society on me 12 times in a month from different phone numbers and gave them the addresses of all my neighbors so it made it seem like the whole neighborhood was having problems with my dogs i was going crazy then i found out it was the woman behind me who lived on a half lot she was mad because when i moved in i would not let her grand kids play in my yard this made her mad because now the kids had no wear to play so she decided if i had no dogs the kids could play in the yard after Gatsby was almost kidnapped i moved |
i like the idea of spraying him late night ...lol..and not in a good way..ew.. i totally understand having 4 yorkies barking is loud and annoying..but he also shouldnt be at the gate instigating the barking...they are barkers..its a busy neighborhood but we dont leave them out long at all...i do my part yet he is a nosy butt too!..lol i guess the next time he is leaf blowing under our bed room window at 11pm ill spray him down or tell him to go inside and shut it up! be courteous of people sleeping..and if he wifey poo comes out with the peak a boos again ill tell her she is offending me, hurting my eyes and needs to change..lol im being silly now i need to stop the fence isnt broken any where its the chain length gaps..i have things blocking them from getting out...but some how teddy keeps escaping...and i definitely worry about them being hurt and taken..thats why they arent out long..and teddy usually comes to the porch and barks at the front door. i honestly think the guy sometimes lets teddy out..cause right now i cant figure out how hes leaving the yard. not moving any time soon...i try to ignore them on most occasions =) and im not one to call the police quickly on people, they called on the police last week due to the other man parking in front of their house..which is legal street parking so all it did was back fire on him for having a stolen inspection sticker, no drivers lience and chopping up the people on the rights drive way timbers... being i have 1 more dog then legally allowed i dont want to bring any attention on me..but bella probably wouldnt count being 3lbs of nothing..lol |

Step 1: Get your garden hose. Step 2: Confront your rude neighbor. Step 3: LET HER LOOSE and spray. :D At least, that is what I would do. See how he likes it, hmm? |
ya'll are great! no i dont think this area has ordiances and right now he is quiet because of all the problems landing at their door i do like the idea of indecent exposure..lol the cops would put her in a rubber room for sure!..lol i just let the dogs out and bam teddys out within minutes..guess what? my gate was open...hmmmmm... i guess i will have to start going out with them from now on... someone already told him i was gonna beat his a$$...lol ive never been in a real physical altercation..i cant punch worth crap! but i can yell a whole lot ask my dh!..lol |

that's insane is there a way you could rig the gate so it stays closed or maybe put a spring on it so it closes automatically that way you dont have to worry |
I would not leave my pups outside unattended with an Ahole like that next door! And, everytime I was outside with them, I would be holding a hose. I would ALSO have a hose in my hand when he started doing yard work at weird hours. The best solution: an eight foot wood privacy fence! I have one. My neighbors are not a problem, but I love my fence! |
If there is an ordinance against barking excessively then there is an ordinance against mowing 11 at night. It would be one and the same.. noise nuisance. That being said. I have to agree with most of the others, I would do nothing to antagonize the situation. All it takes is one poison laced hot dog thrown over the fence and it's over. I would not let my dogs out unattended ever until the fence situation is resolved. Had she decided to call AC and report your 5lb fluff ball as aggressive to her daughter, you would be in the wrong because it would be your animal that had infringed on their property. Your dog would then have a history of aggressiveness on the books and a couple of those may be all it takes to have it confiscated and put down. Why take a chance on the legal hassles. When it comes to complaints from squeaky wheels, the size of the dog doesn't necessarily matter. I feel for you, nothing much makes everyday life worse than crappy neighbors. But at this point keeping your babies safe and healthy is the most important thing. oh, btw, hosing the a--hole down WOULD be an assault...sorry... |
wow that is a situation. I am lucky to live next to quite people. I would be very upset if someone was spraying my dog. I might just stand out there and spray them back. |
Sorry you are having so many problems with your neighbors. Wouldn't it be great if they would move? But, in the mean time, I would not let your pups out without you going out also. (It only takes a few more minutes in your day.) Since the barking seems to be your neighbor's problem, you can also take care of the barking while you are out there. I doubt they will tease your dogs either, if you are a witness. This could be a potentially escalating problem and I would hate for your dogs to get really hurt by their vindictiveness. Good luck with this scary situation. |
There may be too much water under the bridge (no pun intended lol), for this to work, but I've started working w/my neighbor about our dogs fence fighting and barking hysterically, at each other...I'll text her, and tell her when my pups will be inside, for several hours (while I'm out pet sitting), and she seems to bring hers in, when it's time for mine to do their business...I just say, I'll be gone for several hrs., so I wanted you to know you can have some peace and quiet w/your dogs outside...Seems to be working pretty well...Sometimes she won't put hers in, but mine are only out there, when I'm w/them, so we just choose the best time, to get out, and get back in...Good luck, w/this...sounds like a real head-ache, for all concerned... |
