Such a shocking video. But really more people need to know about it, They are hard videos to watch, but the more this info comes forward the closer we'll get to shutting all of them down. Glad he came forward to share what he learned while working there. |
Thanks for posting this Jodi ringworm can be cured w/some antibiotic ointment, not death...:( puppy mills needs to be stopped. |
Thank you so much for this posting. I am SO glad someone finally came forward to tell everyone about what goes on in puppy mills. I think this will open the doors for others to come forward, and then maybe we can get some new laws on the books prohibiting these mills and the sale of pets in stores. God bless this man for rescuing some of those poor little dogs!!! |

That is so sad. I'm glad he's speaking out. They said in the video that he had worked for 2 puppy mills in Virginia - I wonder if it could have been one Smokey was born at as I know he was from one in Southern Virginia. :( |
The strangest thing just happened... I was watching the clip with the volume quite low~ My Apollo started whimpering and pacing~~he never does that! He rarely makes any kind of noise! My puppy feels their pain. I need a moment... |
This is very sad, however, I am glad to see that this man is trying to bring puppy mills out in the open and spreading the word on how horrendous they are. Maybe one day, puppy mills will be banned/outlawed! |
I could only get about 45 seconds in...I'm in tears. I had to stop watching. How can ppl like this that do this, even call them self a human. I just don't understand what makes a person do something like this. Its just plain evil and murder. Do they not know these precious babies have feelings, emotions, hearts and a brain? This just makes me sick. So glad this man is speaking out. |
I couldn't watch it either but glad there are those speaking out about this horrible life for these precious babies! someone would have to have no heart to do this or work at one and not say anything. I wish they would all go out of business!! Leave the breeding to the professional breeders! |
Tragic!!! Disgusting!!! It's always so horrible to hear how badly some people treat the precious creatures and would-be life-long companions to others. I have no idea what 'justice' would be in such cases...not just 'puppy mills' like he describes...testing on animals, and the whole lot. I am always horribly saddened when I read of mistreated animals being found and rescued. A 'farm' in Weirsdale (FL) had 60 animals picked up last year...56 were Yorkies....they put pictures in the paper...so precious...there were other dogs and animals, too, and even a bird. It was sad. All said and done, the owner "was allowed" to keep 6 Yorkies. I haven't heard anything about it in a while, but I always wonder...and fear for the Yorkies. They adopted a lot of them out...I know people who tried to adopt them, but so many people wanted them. There was another case recently where animals were involved and there was a 'front' where people were allowed to see and a 'back' where conditions for the animals were atrocious. The animals were removed from there, too, and an investigation...inspectors should have noticed long before... They just arrested a 20-year-old male for killing 3 6-wk-old Chi pups...he and his GF were arguing over the puppies. One pup he said he "threw it down [on the floor] and it died"...necropsy was "blunt force trauma" for the 3 that died. There were 3 additional Chi pups...1 was wandering around the apt., and 2 were hiding behind a toilet filled with urine and feces. Their mommy Chi was eating out of the garbage. I provided contact info to a friend who tried to at least foster or make a $$$donation, but was told the puppies were "evidence" and it would be "months and months" before anyone could help them little Chi's. So horrible! The news article was on TV several days after it was in the paper. I cannot understand such disregard for such sweet innocents. It happens with relative frequency here...not sure if people just get overwhelmed or if they never really cared about the darlings they allowed/helped to be created. I can only follow such stories so far...it's just so terribly, horribly sad...:( My babies have all been l feral/re-homed/rescued...it\'s not possible, but I sometimes wish I could take all who need a loving mommy...it just breaks my heart so much. I am glad to know that some people are willing to help the poor animals though...that guy is an angel for what he did to help those poor, trapped babies! At least he saw them as valuable spirits...not $$$ products. |
