Heartbreaking!!
 
A friend of mine sent this to me. It really broke my heart. A six year old female in Missouri that they are trying to sell. They have adveritsed as a heavy breeder. ARGH!!

omg - this poor girl is 6 years old - and the person who is selling her breeds Bulldogs!!! Poor baby looks so unhappy!

I sent a message. Not a nice one and I will probably get a doosy back in my mail box but I don't care. Told him can you say puppymill and there is a special place in hell for you. I wish we could get her out of there and donate her to rescue where they can place the pups and get the fee back in buying her, but I know that will only put the $$ in his hand to get another. Just hurts to see this. Elaine

OMG - did you look at her picture? She looks so sweet and SO sad. If I lived nearby I would be going to get her right now. What kind of monsters would treat a dog like that?

Didn't know how to add to previous post but it looks as though there are 2 girls pregnant and for sale. One 5 years old and one 6 years old. I sent an e-mail as well.

poor little one! I thought about studding my boys out before they were fixed, but I just couldn't do it when I really thought about it. Why create more if there are so many who need homes, you know? My older one has really bad luxating patellas anyways, so he would have been a no go because of that.

Some breeders have zero ethics! We retire our females and males at approximately 6 years old. They must be spayed or neutered to ensure no further breeding can occur.

We have the new family sign a contract to ensure that the surgery and any dental work are done before they assume full ownership. The dog is given away for free to the new family but they pay for the spay and teeth cleaning which typically is less than $300

"Heavy bred" means she is just about due. I learned that nice little descriptive phrase:( from attending puppymill breeder auctions:mad: And, from the looks of the pictures these people have probably been to a few of those auctions. Now, they realize they can sell pregnant dogs for more on websites than auctions.

These things break my heart too, Elaine. As much as I want to though, I've had to accept that they can't all be saved from this life of hell. As long as there is a market for these dogs, the millers will keep producing them, as they are "money in the bank" (another one of those endearing auctions terms heard often:mad::mad:) I hate them!!!!!!:mad:

There's hope for the little Momma; if she gets placed with someone with an ounce of common sense, they'll love her and take good care of her, and she won't be forced to be bred ever again! This may be the best thing in her little world for her?:aimeeyork

Unfortuanately in that state (And I don't mean any disresect to anyone from there) there are a lot of mills so there is a higher percentage that she will end up in the hands of another miller.

I have to say this and it may be harsh but some people need to be horse whipped i mean selling this poor furbaby that clearly looks over bread and listless. Is it me or does it seem like people are getting worse with the blatant disregard for life.

Well, I got a response back from the seller. Did anyone else?

I guess there is a place in hell for all of those who don't know Jesus Christ as their personal savior. Judging from your message, you should be more concerned about eternity and less concerned about our business. I hope you haved a blessed day.


Got to love the "Have a blessed day." All these people claim to be so religious, yet they have no trouble inflicting the pain the do on these animals. Really makes me sick.

This girl has probably been bred each and every heat, and has had no life at all. Living in a cage and used! It breaks my heart to see these things. And to have a website all proud of your lines....give me a break:rolleyes:
Puppy miller is a nice name for this aweful person:(:mad::thumbdown
