Murphy is such a wuss! Or is he? Murphy loves to play fuss and wrestle with his brothers. When he goes to start something up, he'll run right up to their faces and bark, bark, bark. Then he'll back away a few steps and turn his little butt right in their face and growl. Tail waggin as hard as it can, he'll step back butt towards them and growl...step forward a little...step back butt first and growl some more until the others join in the fun. :dogprints He always has a huge grin on his face and that tail's waggin away, so I hate to spoil his fun :rolleyes:...BUT I sometimes wanna tell him he's being a wuss. I think he should go head first like tough dude.:p Is he the only one who wants to wrestle butt-first? :embarasse Or is he really just weird? :D I love, love, love watching him play this way - I hope he never changes. :wub: |

My little Gina (rip) used to play like this with the cat. She would go right up to her face and bark and then turn her butt around to he cat. I think that was wise since Inky (rip) could slap her face in a New York minute. Makes me smile just to think of those two. |
That is how Ziva got her littermates to play chase,that way she had a headstart! She shows the big dog her butt and Lucy just sniffs it... |

I think Murphy and Lane would get along fabulously! She loves to put her little booty forward in the other dog's face, but I always thought she was "offering" herself to male dogs since she has managed to get even the most calm (and neutered) dogs riled up. She is a puppymill rescue, so we figured it was kind of all she knew, but maybe it is just a style of play! :p She'll also do the circle, tail up wagging "offer," and play growl and repeat! |
Pixie does the same thing. It is so funny to watch. |

Levi does this sometimes too! Not often, but enough to be cute. He also really loves to pounce on other dogs' faces. He'll back up, then runnnnn up to them and pounce right on their faces. If he's scared (or if he realizes he's bitten off more than he can chew :) ), then he generally runs and hides behind my legs. I love these little Yorkies, they are so cute! Wish we knew more of them around here so Levi could have more little playmates. |
Neo and Connor do the "butt thing" too when they're playing. I think its just a yorkie trait. It is so cute to see them bump each other, goading the other to react to the bump! They're so much like little human boys, sometimes. :D |
