My baby needs a yard! I am putting an offer on a house with a gorgeous fenced in backyard this evening! I've decided that I need to sell my townhouse and get my baby a yard! (My baby being the puppy I'm getting that won't even be conceived until winter! LOL) Anyway, I've decided that my precious baby MUST have his own fenced in backyard. If everyone could say a prayer and send some good thoughts my way, I'd REALLY appreciate it! I need prayers that they'll accept my offer and prayers that my townhouse will sell quickly! Thank you, thank you, thank you in advance! Everyone keep your fingers crossed please!!!!!! |
I hope it works out for you! Our lil Yorkie girl LOVES her yard. She honestly can't get enough of it, and I know she's going to be bummed when the Michigan winter starts hitting us. |
Ding ding ding ding ding! You win the prize for spoiling your Yorkie -- and before you even have one! Seriously -- I think you're going about it the right way -- setting a goal for yourself and then doing what you need to do to reach that goal. While Yorkies and other toy breeds can do quite well in an apartment, I think it's great if you can to have an enclosed yard where your dog can play safely! Good for you! I hope everything works out well for you. It took me forever to type this with crossed fingers, but I will continue to keep them crossed for you! |
Keeping my fingers crossed. |
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! I agree with you. They do need a yard of their own - a place where they can be safe. I don't know what we'd do without ours, either! |
Will keep fingers crossed. You will be a good yorkie mom!!! |
Wow :) Good luck! I'm glad you are planning ahead :p |
LOL, I might just win the prize for spending the most money on my baby, huh? My townhouse I own now is spacious and of course I would take my baby for walks, but I just think they need their own room to run around in. The house I put the offer on has a nice 6 foot privacy fence that goes completely to the ground (I checked for gaps). The deck even has nice siding or trim (not sure of the terminology) that goes all the way to the ground so he won't be able to get under it at all. It was really important to me to find a yard that will be a safe place for him to play and this one seems perfect! Thanks for all the well wishes! I'll post an update as soon as I hear back. I'm so excited! |
Oh, and I almost forgot, the house has nice wood laminate throughout and only has carpet in the bedrooms! I think it will make house training much more pleasant. I've already figured out the perfect place for his X pen! :D |
Wow -- you get the gold star for advance planning! I think that is one lucky little puppy that is coming to you! Good luck on the house -- it sounds perfect! I know mine enjoy their yard. I am sure your little one will too! |
Yay! They accepted my offer! If everyone could please pray my townhouse sells quickly, I'd greatly appreciate it! I'm sooooo excited! :D |
That's great news. Here's hoping your townhouse sells quickly! |
That's great. With the economy the way it is, it's a buyers market so hopefully your townhouse will sell quickly! There was a townhouse in my development that sold in only 3 days. They did price it low but they said since they were getting a bigger house it was worth it:) The laminate will be super with potty training. Much easier to see and clean accidents. It's great that you have a fenced in backyard. We have a townhouse with a teeny fenced in backyard but it's enough for them for now. We have a privacy fence but added lattice to the bottom of it to cover up gaps even more. Congratulations again:thumbup::thumbup: |
Wonderful news! Now, someone go buy the townhouse.:D |
Good luck! We just moved from a house with a big fenced-in backyard to a smaller apartment on the third floor and Levi is definitely missing his yard!! I'm sure your new furbaby will appreciate his or her yard! :) :) |
