Tallulah comes to her forever home next Tuesday! I just got off the phone with Tallulah's breeder, and she's ready to come home! She will be 12 weeks old on Sunday, and Cindy says she is hale and hearty. I'm going to pick her up on Tuesday and will have the rest of the week off to get her used to her new home. Now that I finally have a date, I'm a little scared! But mostly I'm beside myself with excitement and thinking about all the things I have yet to do to puppy-proof the house. Hope that puppycam arrives soon! |
How exciting!! I can't wait to watch her grow up on here :) I bet you are exploding with happiness right now! |
That's so exciting. |
That is so exciting!!! I remember when I picked up my two...it will be a year on Nov.7th. I suggest getting a bunch of puppy chew toys AND a must.. "can't-live-without" for me was a "doggy car seat". I use it everyday and I could't drive anywhere with them without one. Do you have a dog bag disguised as a purse?? You'll be able to take him anywhere with one of those... :p Can't wait to see pics and hear all about the arrival :) |
I have the Sherpa Monaco bag, and have been looking at car seats -- just haven't made up my mind which one. Cindy is going to send her home with food, toys, etc - and of course I've bought a few toys myself. And this little girl already has a better wardrobe than I do! |
how exciting and i LOVE HER NAME!!!!! I think ill make that Valentines middle name :) |
Aw, congratulations!!! And I too, LOVE the name :)! |
I can feel the excitement myself.:D |
Congratulations! I can just imagine your excitement. :) |
It is wonderful - and the last few days will seem to drag! I remember before Beamer came I was on the internet looking at cute sites for bows and buying a bunch of them before he got here. Going to the pet supply stores to see what neat things they had. I was just so excited to be getting him so I know how excited you must be. I sure wish I had known about YT then, would have been wonderful to have so many Yorkie lovers to share my excitement with. Love the name Tallulah ( Tallulah Bankhead???) |
:congrats: |
Thanks, everybody! I'm so excited about getting her I'm even dreaming Yorkies. About the name -- I wanted to give her a diva name but not one that is common. And because I have a little lisp no names with "S" and also because I always sound like I have a cold, no names with "M" or "N." That narrowed down the list a lot. I've been listening to some old time radio programs and Tallulah Bankhead hosted one series -- so I guess it was in the back of my mind for a while. Now trying to choose a middle name. Any suggestions? Remember - no "s" "m" or "n" allowed. |
Does it matter if there is an "s" in the name? I thought of Rose. |
I just thought of Belle.:D |
This is my last guess: since Tallulah is Native American, how about Cheyenne? |
