Great idea thakyou it is a rather large bowl had not thought of that I will put a small one by her bed with ice in it, she has slept so much, there is a storm approaching and there evil here I think if she had not been found yesterday that would have been the end of her , bless her.

You are such an angel for fostering this little one.
The before pictures are so sad, but she looks so much better in the after pictures.
I cant wait to see what she is like when she gains weight.

Cindy ate well yesterday, but today seems not interested in her breakfast turned her nose up and walked away, I hope to god she is OK, she is so tiny and skinny I am a little bit stressed that I am getting it right. I have been cooking her chicken and scrambling some egg added to puppy food (advised by the vet) will see how she goes. Cindy sleeps such a lot but I suppose she would , she is so malnourised. Will keep you updated.

Well Cindy went down hill, just kept sleeping and not eating , back to the vets, she is anemic and has gastroenteritis poor girl. They think the worming tablet and puppy food (they recommended) was too rich and has agravated her tummy. Poor little girl has had 3 injections, 1 anti biotics, another for the runs, and some vitamins. Now on antibiotics for a week, also a stomach liner to be given to her 30 minutes before food,she is on special Hills prescription wet food for now, then to go on to chicken and rice again and red meat for the anemia, but bless her she is now 1.9 kg. Will keep you updated .

My heart hurts for the poor baby. I hope she comes out of this...she is such a cutie! Bless you for taking care of her.

I am sitting here with tears pouring down my face, this poop poor little dog is so frail,her little bottom is so sore from the runs, and she looks so ill. I just hope the medication starts working, she is being syringed food a tiny bit every 4 hours, bless her little heart , I have really bonded with her and call her my little princess, I hope she pulls through. Thanks for all your kind thoughts i dont feel alone .xxxx

I would put some ointment on her hiney to keep it from getting so sore. I hope that little one starts getting better soon. If you need any help or assistance, there are lots of people here who will try to help you if they can.

Cindy gained weight and hit 3kg , bless she is now a very spoilt baby in her new home a lady on her own no other pets, who adores her, and Cindy loves her new Mum.:)

Get if you don't have a real aloe vera plant. Use this absolutely fresh aloe vera on her bottom.

I'm just now reading this thread, but the before and after pictures of Cindy are amazing! Cindy looks like a different dog in the pictures you posted today. What a wonderful foster mommy you've been to get her healthy and into in a wonderful new home.
