Can you get a Yorkie for $600-800, of course you can, but I was just pointing out to be very careful in researching the breeder. I don't know if that price range needs to be including shipping if they have to be shipped or not, etc..
I'm not sure if the dog you are referring to listed for $900 is the one that is an adult dog, but I pointed out an adult dog might be a good option.
Just lots of info to consider!
As frequently mentioned on YT, the initial price of the dog is quite often the least of the cost associated with a Yorkie, so it's important to take that into consideration. | 1.) Nope never owned a yorkie....nowhere in my post did I claimed that I did.
2.) (I don't know how to post the link of the thread because I'm on my phone.) But the thread I was referring to was "Small Chunky Monkey Male" & to correct myself he's $800 & he's a little more than 12 weeks.
3.)noticed that I said I disagreed to SOME of the comments not all. & I also said "THOROUGHLY research the breeder"
4.) I also said if the OP wanted to TRAVEL the distance. Meaning if the OP wanted to meet these breeders or pick up the puppy in person. So no I'm not including shipping because PERSONALLY I wouldn't want my puppy shipped.
5.) & I agree with your last statement. Which applies to any other animal you own. I got my cat for free & we've paid thousand on her vet care, toys, litter, litter boxes, scratching posts, treats, catnip, couch repairs (because she tears up our couches). But Its common sense that animals care cost more than what u initially paid (or didn't pay ) for them. I'm pretty sure the breeder knows that since the owned a dog before. & Yes yorkies are the most expensive when it comes to their care that's y I suggested that they take their time & do their research. :) |
