Unbelievable:thumbdown |
So you are bartering the pups instead of getting cash for them. You do realize that is still considered reportable income, don't you? How does that make you better than any of the greeders you bought your sick, un-registered dogs from? And you do realize that it is a violation of YT terms of service to advertise pups for sale (or cough, cough, barter) in any forum other than the official sale forum, right? |

Sadly, you are going to justify breeding this dogs, regardless of what is said. :( But fortunately, members here can at least be aware of the situation and make an more informed decision as to whether or not they want to become one of your "connections." I am very glad that some people have "nothing better to do" than expose these kinds of issues. Saves a lot of people a lot of heartache. |
One more thing... I am glad that you feel very confident in your vet's assessment of your dogs. As a self-proclaimed "novice," who's been breeding for years, you have sought out a lot of very basic advice here recently. I hope your vet truly is as knowledgeable as you claim and is able to guide you though the breeding process. I for one, will not be providing the information you seek any longer as I feel like it will only futher enable you to continue the breeding path you are on and I cannot with clear concience contribute in your efforts. And yes, as someone mentioned, posting in an attempt to 'make contacts' and place pups before they are minimally 8 weeks old is against YT's guidelines. |
This thread has went way to far. I was looking for happiness in this thread and all i received was criticism. I am getting a new roof from a friend at no cost. They did not ask me for a pup at all. I offered it as a gift. Our driver is very good to us, it is a gift for him and his wife. The other one that my husband is giving away is a gift in return for a favor, he loves our pups and did not ask for one we just offered one to him. I was just hoping for some NICE people to make some NICe comments about all the happiness that we are having right now. As i said , i appreciate the imput by professional breeder ONLY. If you are not an experienced breeder an have nothing nice to say, leave it unsaid. Please do not give uncalled for comments without knowing the WHOLE story of me and my babies. Ask nicely and you will receive. Bad things happen to people who make bad words. Happiness comes to those that are supportive to others and are genuine. :animal36 Love to all of you that follow the laws of the universe. Those of you that dont i wish you luck |

Oh here we go again with someone posting on a PUBLIC dog-lovers' forum and whining when they don't get the "nice" comments that they wanted. BOO FRICKETY HOO!!!!! How dare you use your poor babies to barter for THINGS?!?!! They aren't fit for breeding (from reading all your back posts about them) and they deserve better. You're not seriously trying to get this forum of dedicated YT lovers to condone (look it up) what you're doing?!?! Go away:mad:! Admin, is this kind of post going to be allowed here, in full violation of the rules? If so, I don't think I even want to be here anymore:cry: |

If bad things happen to people who 'make bad words,' then I'm afraid to think of what happens to the people who earned them to begin with. |

AKC only registers purebreds. |

I feel so sorry for those babies she's breeding, especially the one that came from a puppy mill. They deserve to have a love filled life instead of one spent producing lives for her to 'barter' with. That should be illegal! And for the pups they produce and the unsuspecting people who take them home - who knows what illness and heartache awaits them because someone couldn't be bothered to take the time to study, learn and do things properly....or even better, not do them at all. |
Oh - and this is where Daisy came from! Stop Dixie Pups/Poochie Koochie! and scroll down and see other customers stories, and a link to the court cases against Julie Suoltullo. |

I think it should stay, too. But I did send a notice to admin for rules violations. Maybe it should be locked, or at the very least, moved. |
You can always put up the thread's link in future threads. :) |

I didn't buy her from an unethical breeder/puppy mill/broker with the intention of breeding her. I have plenty of things to do thank you very much, but Yorkies are my passion like most here that are not here selling puppies. I'm very compassionate after adopting Crosley & Camden who came from a terrible place to try and help potential buyers from making mistakes by buying from breeders that don't know what they are doing, history of their dogs, etc... |

I have little respect for AKC papers. not the AKC though. I was offered by 2 different people and certainly not on my asking, because i refused, that if i bred my dog to theirs they would falsify AKC Papers for me!! Well i did not use them as a stud because that is certainly unethical! Little to say i went else where. I was very honest with the woman that i sold my other pup to in the last litter and she is very happy with that and her pup. So i have little trust in anyone even those with AKC papers because they can be false! Who can we trust? I certainly trust no one after what i have been through but i am honest about where my pups come from. |

This is a public forum, so I don't have to be an experienced breeder to make comments. You didn't buy from experienced breeders, so what difference does that make? As far as knowing the whole story, I posted your comments, your story, period! The info came from you. I just hope any potential buyers will see this and realize they need to keep looking in their search so they can buy from an experienced, reputable & ethical breeder that knows their lines & history and have the best representation of the breed! |

The fact that you KNOW you got the puppies from less than honest people, with questionable back grounds and they were sick YET you still choose to breed them to "gift" to people is unconscionable. Quote:

One came from a breeder who sells to brokers One came from a pet store One came from a USDA broker This info was out there, you found it out right after buying them, why didn't you look before buying? You knew enough to google right after bringing one of them home! Did you not look because you wanted dogs that you could breed and this is the best you could find? You knew two of them were only 6-8 weeks old! If you had mentored and educated yourself on breeding, you would have know they were too young. You would have known to check USDA lists & at the very least google names! You were already a member of YT before you had two of them and at least one of the breeders had been mentioned on here. No excuses, sorry! |

This is something any potential, responsible buyer could and should do when purchasing for ANY reason, but especially important when you know you are buying with the intention of being a breeder! |
