I hate these kinds of mornings She HATES going potty in the rain... She's been in our bed all night since she's potty trianed but it's rainy outside and she stands there... then she pees REAL quick...then comes in and poops on the floor... lol...she has not done this in a long time....oh well  |
I, totally, know what you are talking about...It was clear long enough to get everyone out to pee, but after breakfast, it started pouring, and I couldn't take them out, so Apple pooped on the floor  Buzz went really close to the pee pad lol, and Cha Cha went right on it (she's pad trained)...I wish they'd all go on pads, but Apple never would, even when she was young? I wish they all went on pads, but I console myself, thinking about how expensive that would be! |
My dogs hate to go out in the rain also. My two Bassets go out real fast and do what they have to do. Thank God they do all of their business before they come in. My shorkie has a big problem with the rain but she's double trained and when she doesn't go out she uses the wee wee pad. My Yorkie is still not allowed outside because he hasn't had all of his shots but I am going to cross train him to use the wee wee pad when it's raining outside just like my Shorkie. |
My Brandi hates the rain or anything wet. She hates for her paws to be wet. She will not pee or poop and she's not pad trained which means I have to let her out back at least once an hour until she does her business. She stands there doing the little dog shake and acting is if I am torturing her. She is such a drama queen. She gives me the saddest puppy dog look you've ever see. She could be a contender for the Oscar. She's a very good actress. |
I think I'm lucky. Fynn doesn't seem to mind the rain one bit. :) The only issue is that I can never tell if he's tinkled or not! |
Jackson, who is Mr. outdoors all the time dog, hates the rain. If we wake up in the morning, and it's raining, he just stands there and looks at me like "I am NOT going out in that." So I have to force him outside and walk him on the leash until he goes. Or, he will just wait, lol. He seriously will wait an hour after waking up and hold it. |

Rain does not bother Maxine, but Carlo will not go out, he would rather hold it than get wet. |
Sophie Kate loves the rain, its her Mom who hates it. I have a Yorkie Spaniel who will actually play in puddles (also points at Geese and will drag me down the sidewalk chasing them). She is pad trained also so on these mornings she will use the pad. |
At least yorkie poopies are just little bothers and very easy to clean up. |
I need to take a torch with me in the mornings now, it's hard to see the poops in the dark of morning. I'm almost up Teegy's bum waiting to catch it these days hahahaha |
Gotta love them! LOL |
Taycie is the same way this happened just the other day I knew she needed to go out so I opened the door she noticed it was raining... she looked at me like What in the heck are you thinking? I am not going out in this... she literally refuses... won't walk in the rain nothing just sits and shivers.... little stinker... Then of course goes poops in the house...I can tell when winter comes its going to be interesting:) |
I have to hold an umbrella over princess Ruby.:umbrella: |
I can't stand rain myself... Melanie doesn't mid it... I'm just now imagining that my youngest will be home on 10/23 and I will be potty training during the CA raining season... oh well! |
