Fall is a great season for Yorkies and people alike (: It's almost fall! It's cooling down and was chilly when I let Khloe out this morning. She loves playing with the leaves that are already falling. lol. I am thankful for four seasons, but appreciate fall after a h-o-t summer. Wishing you all a fun Sunday and a happy fall. (: |

I couldn't agree more. I love fall and spring both. Summers are so hot here we stay in most of the time. But fall is when I get to open my windows and air out the house. And Rosie gets to play outside more. She will be happy!! |

Tis me favorite too! :p Even though we don't have hot summers or cold winters or snow (except in the mountains).............fall is still beautiful here. Lots of maple trees that turn crimson, the air is cool and crisp but the sun feels warm and I put all my fall decorations out and next month it will be time to take wonderful fall pictures and go to the pumpkin patches and decorate for halloween, then Nov. it's time to fill the home with all the wonderful pie and turkey smells, and December is the very special month for decorating and cooking and having more family and friends visit for hot apple cider, egg-nog & cookies, and drive around in the evening to see all the beautiful decorations. Then comes Jan. :( Fun is all over here unless we go up in the mountains to play in the snow, but if you live in MN. I guess ice-fishing kicks off. ;) Always wonderful things to look forward to. ;) |
It's nice to hear about some fellow fall lovers. For me it is the most mysterious of the seasons. I love the fireplace, the crisp clarity of the air, and the crunch of leaves beneath my feet. New beginnings and promise in the air and as Yorkiedaze so aptly expressed - family, holidays, and all that is meaningful and right in this world. :rolleyes: |
ya'll missed the best thing about fall THE SMELLS the smell of snow the smell of crunchy leaves the smell of fireplaces and fresh made hot chocolate the smell of the rain on wood and cement and wet yorkie fur everything smells better in fall |
I looooooveee Fall time. It's my definite favorite, and I think it's Jackson's, too. He gets extra energy in the Fall. I just wish the weather lasted longer. :( I feel like actual Fall weather is so short lived around here, and then winter drags on forever, it seems like. Spring and Fall are definitely my favorites because they are both in-the-middle type weather, whereas summer here gets TOO hot and winter gets TOO cold, haha. |
We don't really have much of a Fall in my neck of the woods, we seem to jump right in to Winter, and then it's to cold for the little ones :( |

Fall is going to be great for my baby Zach 5 months old He gets his final shot next week and he will be able to go out just in time for the fall weather. He already has 4 sweaters and 3 jackets as does his sister Zoe who is a 10 month old shorkie and this will be her first real fall also. I can't wait to see them in their matching sweathers. |
