Growl-o-ween! Are you getting ready? I know what Ollie is going to be but am completely stumped on Sam! I keep going back and forth on either buying or making something.... its tough!! |
Bandit is going to be a lobster:) I really want this super cute puffy pink hippo costume with polka dot undies for Nala but it's kinda pricy for just one day a year lol. Last year Bandit was a pumpkin and Nala was a cow (with udders:p). If I had talent or time I'd like to try and make a costume. A YTer on here had an AWESOME spider costume they made. They put a video up and it was hilarious... does anyone remember who? It was really an amazing costume:thumbup: |
I want the lobster costume since I cant find a crab for Sebastian since he's named after the crab on the Little Mermaid. Then again I want a piggy or something cutesie. We went to the Circus on Sunday and one of the clowns had this Maltese (I think) dressed as an elephant. He'd wind it up and he would go. When he wound down he'd fall over. The clown would wind him up again! Too cute! So it makes me want to dress Sebastian something similar. I don't know why, I just do. |

I found a few cute ones on Walmart.com! I might make Jackson wear the jockey costume.... Walmart.com: Jockey Costume: Halloween since my step dad owns a few race horses and is really into it. I think he'd get a kick out of it. But I dunno! He has a few Halloween shirts and I may end up just doing that... I hate spending money on something he will wear once, haha. |
We went to Target tonight. In the Halloween Costume department, they also have pet costumes. These costumes were all very cute and hard to decide which ones to get for our two pups. So, we brought home several to try on both pups. We have decided on a pumpkin costume for "Princess" our yorkie. And a "Prince" costume for our pomeranian pup. We may decide to get another pumpkin costume so both pups can dress alike! Target had one costume I now wish we would have brought home also. It is a squirrel costume! It was soooo cute!!!! If anyone has a Target close by, it is well worth checking out all the cute pet costumes! |

I just got the pj's from Target! I got Neo the spider web design and Connor the skeleton (because he is such a CHUNK, lol!) one. They're $7.99 each , which I think is not bad, considering they can be used more than once. :) |
Sophie Kate is going as Justin Bieber, I am making her costume (which is basically hair and t shirt). |
I think I'm going to stick with last year's costume: I cut holes in a cheap purse and Thor went as a doggie bag. :) |
Y'all have some great ideas! I love that hippo costume someone mentioned upthread. I want it just to have it, but I know how ridiculous that sounds. :rolleyes: Rory and Lane's costumes are going to be a secret until closer to Halloween, but my fiance actually came up with the idea for their costumes this year. Last year, Rory was a Ghostbuster, and Lane was Slimer. Lane had to wear a "fatsuit" and everything. :p |
You all are too funny. We've gotta still live vicariously as a kid somehow tho right? I Still wish I could go trick-o-treating, because I loved dressing up for Halloween. Maybe I can dress Jen up, teach her to hold a mini treat bag and go door to door with my lil brother. haha |
Doggy bag? I love it! I bought Tallulah a bumblebee costume but I don't think she will be old enough to go out in public yet. |
