Do dogs like V8??
 
Ok does anyone else's dog go crazy when they smell V8? Yes, V8 the vegetable juice. I find it so weird, I mean I know it doesn't smell great and maybe thats the appeal. She literally goes crazy though like its her food, jumping up and down and whinning. I put the tiniest little bit in the cap to see how she'd react to it and she licked it clean and wouldn't stop even after it was gone. I'm not going to give her anymore because it is high in sodium and I know that can't be good for her. I was just wondering if anyone had an idea of why it would be so appealing to her in the first place? :confused:

the only thing about v8 it's high in sodium and might contain some veggies that dogs can't have; read the ingredients like onions and garlic and salt..

I have to hide my opened V8 cans or she will stop at nothing to lick it to death! She LOVES IT! ... I don't really want her to eat it because of some of the stuff in it but sure is funny when she smells it... She likes it almost better then her treats... so when I am drinking it sometimes I hide so she won't beg for it! HAHAHAHAHA!

I haven't tried V8 with Fynn but he absolutely LOVES raw veggies. LOVES them. So, I can see the V8 appeal.

I love v8 so Im sure mine would too because they like anything I do. Ive never given it to them though because Im sure theres things in there they shouldnt have like onion

I never try on my dogs, I will just watch the sodium on in, they have a low sodiumV8 Juice Calories and Nutrition Facts
