3 mischievous Yorkies gang up on their mother! I have three yorkies. Two girls: Gypsy who just turned 4 and Prissy who just turned 3. I am also really close with my breeder, so I am kind of fostering one of her stud dogs: 2 year old Jimmy (he came for a visit one day and he decided he wanted me to be his new mom and never went home. . .). All three of them get along very well and they are so well behaved that I hardly remember that they are here. However, that was NOT the case this morning: 5:30 a.m. DH takes all the dogs out for their morning business. 7:30 I get up and take all three dogs in to the back yard for a bathroom break. Prissy gives me the middle finger and refuses to go to the bathroom. She is not a morning person so this isn’t uncommon. However she also doesn’t go to the bathroom at 9 a.m. either. 10:45 a.m. Gypsy start going ballistic at the back door (must be a squirrel in the fenced in back yard). I open the door to let her in to the back yard and Jimmy appears out of nowhere and runs out the door too (belly band and all). The two then do laps around the yard—and then disappear!! I am a few step behind them and can hear them barking---ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FENCE!!!! I run back in the house, grab the leashes and run around the corner to the neighbour’s yard that backs on to ours, to retrieve my rogue yorkies, all the while leaving Prissy a lone in the house. I retrieve my yorkies, talk to the neighbour, find the microscopic hole in the fence between the houses, mend the fence and take the dogs back in the house. During the commotion, Prissy (the dog left in the house) decides that she DOES finally have to go to the bathroom and poops on the couch. Gypsy, seeing the poop accident before I do, runs in the house and starts eating her sisters poop! The couch is cleaned up, all the dogs have gone outside for a pee, but I still can’t find Jimmy’s new belly band that he lost on his adventure. Sigh. What a morning. |
Wow - what an adventure. Hope you have a better afternoon. |
You must be exhausted! Little stinkers. |
:lol tearsCan help but Laugh. This is the second funny story that I have read so far today. Hope that your afternoon goes alot better then your morning. |
Hehehe, little rascals! Do you ever wonder if your babies have a sense of humor and PLAN the shananigans they get up to? "Hmmm I wonder what we can do to entertain Mommy today!" |
Ahhh mom, they were just telling you that they are better than coffee for getting you up and going in the morning ;) |
:mademyday I too hope you have a better afternoon. Gotta love yorkies! |
Hahahaha soooo funny. What little imps hehe! xxx |
That's a very adventurous morning!!!! Gotta love our yorkies... they always keep you guessing :) And of course never bored:rolleyes: |
Poop on the couch. Eww. Hope they give you a better day tomorrow. |
and every body thinks that if you want minimum exercise you should get a small bread dog Ha!!! Try the Yorkie exercise plan and then think again about low exercise bread!!! :D:D:D Maria |
Ahhhh.... sounds like love! :) I'm so glad my boys like to sleep in in the mornings and usually don't get out of bed until I am ready to leave the house, then I take them out as they grudgingly get out of bed finally! LOL |
This made me smile... I got up this morning and I swear Harley was punishing me for not paying enough attention to him during the move. He's been in his new room for two weeks now, and loves it, he has a real bed (it's our new spare), and he loves it.. well this morning I realized he peed on it twice in the last 16 hours... of course throughout the night when we couldn't catch him. Thank god I put a plastic matress cover... but the little stinkers love to gang up on us eh? |
LOL...hope the rest of the day goes better but if the chaos continues, I can always use a good laugh mid afternoon :D. |
When I started talking about getting another dog after losing Bungee, George told me he wanted it to be a small dog - because they're so much less work to care for. I've been laughing to myself ever since. |
