Oh my stars!! Do I have WONDERFUL news... so BestPet sent me the wrong color (red plaid - the pictures I posted) and I talked to them today and they no longer have the pink plaid in stock (for the sporty version of the stroller). They said it would take 2-3 months possibly. They said since I was not informed of this, they are sending me the jogger at no extra cost! I was like, "Are you serious?" lol Its like DOUBLE the price! I just can't believe it! So I am super duper happy and will probably have it here on FRIDAY!! WOOOOHOOOOO *dancing* |
I got "kicked out" of Cabelas! We live in New York and last year we took our kid to West Virginia to the Cabelas store for an overnight trip. So I booked a pet friendly hotel room and took my pink plaid stroller so Bella could do our trip also! Well as soon as we walked into the store within 2 minutes a women approached me and said that we absolutely could not have a dog in the store because there was a restaurant in the upper level! She was entirely zipped in! I explained that it was a huge store and I would not take the stroller up the escalator anywhere near the restaurant and that we had driven 7 hours to come to this specific store! She was not sympathetic or friendly and said the only thing we could do was put the stroller behind their counter in the office where I could see her. I was sooooo upset I just wanted to go home! Well I found a Petco in the area and took her there while the rest of my family did Cabelas. I've been gunshy about taking her anywhere inside ever since. We live about an hour from the malls so it isn't worth the trip if I get asked to leave so I don't even try. It really is a bummer! |
We were asked to leave the Cabelas in WV last year with our girls in stroller. They told us the same thing. I waited in the car. We were vacationing and went over an hour one way just to stop there. The next time we were in Bass Pro I asked to speak to the manger and thanked them for allowing my girls in the store. He looked and talked to them and said they were welcome any time. OK, I have been eyeing the pink plaid stroller for some time. We have a pink one but I wanted that jogging one bad! Just order mine from Sears. |

That is a bummer that you get kicked out of somewhere with the babies in a stroller. I mean most skin kids have more germs than dogs do and if the dog does have something a human cant get it unless its rabies and that is hard to get unless they bite you.. I dont understand. :rolleyes: I think dogs should be accepted anywhere if they are in a bag or stroller, and for resturants I think they should be allowed on the patio. Thats just how I see things, but not everyone loves their furbabies like we do!! |

You are some tricky people, hiding your furbabys in a stroller to get them in places. Its funny, I like it. You never know, I may end up getting one....But it will not be pink. |

Strollers Rock!! I would not be without mine. It was a gift from Sophie Kennedys First Mom. We got it through Best Pets for $60.00 plus free shipping and it got here in 3 days!! It looks like a baby stroller and is tan so it doesn't stick out like some of the brighter colored ones. I wanted Purple, But was afraid it screamed 4 little dogs in here!! I've never gone to the mall here with it to see if Security would pick it up. My 4 are quiet and just sit and watch the world go by. On trips it's a dream and @ PM Rallys and other Dog related events I wouldn't be without it! :D i DON'T THINK YOU'LL BE DISAPPOINTED IF YOU GET ONE...:thumbup: |
Just got my stroller last Friday. Love it. Don't know how to post web page. Got it from e-bay. It's a Pet Gear Special Edition, sage green. Has sm print on bottom half w/black mesh on front, rear, & sides. Alot of strollers don't have the mesh on the sides. Has the 3 wheels w/shocks for a smooth ride. Tray on bottom, cup holder, little pocket on side for cell phone etc., folds for storage. It really does look like a baby stroller, just little smaller. Seller is csnstores which you can do a search. Shipping was free. Guess I'm just not guttsy enough to take her into resturants. There pretty strict around here. |
I took a baby stroller layed the seat back as far as it would go and covered it with mesh i like the human stroller because it gives the dogs more room and when i throw a blanket over it people never look twice i have been to the movie theater, the mall and a 4 star restaurant with Gatsby in his stroller not to mention walmart target kmart i draw the line at grocery stores but its a personal choice |

I don't know if I would attempt a restaurant but there is a local brewery that has an outdoor "beer garden" for dining that does allow dogs so we take her and go there in the summer! Some people are funny about seeing that you have a dog but I don't care and nobody has said anything to me yet. I'd like to try the mall but am afraid they would "kick me out" with her and it's too far to drive to turn around and go home! I live pretty far out in the country and don't use my stroller as much as I would like but when I get to I love it! It's funny...we went to a family reunion last summer and I took her stroller and her playpen...my kids are 11 and 13 but I'm still equipped for my baby! Everyone picked on me at first but they all love Bella so it didn't last long :) |

There are FOUR leash straps inside, which I didn't know before it came!! So you're good to go...and can add another baby! ;) (They were under the pad, which came pre-velcroed in.) I put a baby blanket in mine cuz the pad is tarp-like material. I felt like I got a few funny looks in Petco today...I think people were like "Really?! She needs a stroller in here?" But I was TEST DRIVING....duh!! lol :p |
