I know, I didn't want her cut that short but sadly the last "owner" let her get matted pretty close to her skin. He did not take care of her coat very well at all. I measure the longest hair I could find on here and it was almost 9 inches long!!! I do love her with short hair tho. So much easier to take care of. Actually I set up an appointment to get her cut again thursday.
Not sure how but she seemed to even weigh less after I got her groomed. The day before I took her to the vet to get her shots (the guy convieniently couldnt find her shot record :rolleyes:) and she weighed almost 13lbs. Then after I groomed her the salon said she weighed 10lbs. Crazy.

GOOD lord! 135 pounds! That dog must be really big dog. I prefer small dogs always but have recently been wanting a little bigger dog. I just can't force myself to have one indoors.

Thanks for the welcome, and yes, there is something wrong and its getting really annoying. I'm a member of a lot of forums and have never had this problem. I hate having to edit it off, and I cannot even make myself a sig because it adds this and says my sig is too big. :mad: :thumbdown

Welcome to YT and bless you for saving Jenny. I think you found yourself the perfect baby. I know she found the perfect Daddy. She is so cute with her new hair cut. Enjoy her, there is so much to learn and YT is the place to be.So much info so little time. I have had yorkies for 25 yrs and I learn something new every day. Good luck and welcome. Post more pictures when you get them.

As for the code and date stamp on the bottom of your post...doesn't it remind you of a WEP key for wireless internet? Maybe it's that..which isn't good.. lol

True but that's definitely not my WEP key, I have my own personalized one set up.

Hello and welcome!!:) Your little girl is gorgeous!! And I am so sorry for your loss.

I, too, "rescued" a sweet baby girl from Craigslist. Judging by her actions when she first came home and the way the man (the husband of the lady I got her from) spoke of her when we went to pick her up, I believe she was abused by him. To most ppl, I paid too much, shouldn't have replied to a Craiglist ad blah, blah, blah but they did not see my baby's eyes when she saw me that first time...as if she knew she was being rescued. From that point it was if she had been with me her whole life. And she has the most loving personality...can't imagine anyone giving up a baby so precious.

Sorry to ramble...just wanted to share my Craigslist "treasure" as well.

It was the same way with Jenny. As soon as I walked into the guys home she ran straight to me and wanted me to pick her up. I did, and every time I sat her down she badgered me until I picked her up again. Of course I didn't mint because it was so cute at the time. But now I realize that it was because she knew I was there to take her away from him and she was happy about that. Well and she didn't want me to leave with out her.
