Yorkie Poo Question Does anyone have any experience with yorkie poos? :p Our daughter has a friend with yorkies and we are interested in exploring possibility of adopting a yorkie poo. We have a cockapoo who is wonderful and are interested in the yorkie poo combo. Feedback is appreciated. We currently live in Alabama. Thanks- |

I have one that we adopted from a family who didn't like her and we love her to death! There are quite a few people on YT that have them and you never really know with a mixed breed how they will look or what their personality will be. Our Yorkie Poo is 16-17lbs and does have the Yorkie coloring with floppy ears! Is there a reason you aren't just considering a pure bred Yorkie? I would be very careful in purchasing a mixed breed dog from a breeder, because reputable breeders do not mix breeds! You can certainly find plenty of mixes from rescues and shelters though! Best of luck! |

Lola's a yorkie poo. She's got a tiny poodle frame and the yorkie hair and colors along with straight silky hair and big standing ears! She is REALLY smart. Smartest out of my 3 dogs. She listens the best, you don't need to repeat anything with her she will come and go as you say. Very hyper and talkative! Stubborn on the potty training |
I Have a Yorkie-Poo She is The Love of my Life :) |
Muffin is a Yorkie Poo and is a joy to us! My husband is not a pet kind of person but Muffin has won his heart! She has so much personality and is very smart! We love her to death and could care less whether she is considered a mutt or not! We would not trade her for anything!! Good luck! |
I have a Yorkie and a Poodle, but not a Yorkiepoo. It should be a good cross, but as mentioned earlier you won't know what you're getting until the puppies come out, and for some things like personality/intelligence you might not fully know for months. |
hmmm, thought the thread was about potty training....nevermind |

Prince, aka Pookie, is a YorkiPoo, he's one year-old and weighs 6 pounds. He's a healthy, smart, loveable, high-energy member of our family. He has also been a blessing for my allergies since I am very allergic to dogs and cats, I have been allergy-medicine free ever since I got him. Prince is black with some lighter brown markings that just started coming in. Everyone I meet with a YorkiePoo says they're the best. I agree. |
My boy Max is a yorkiepoo. I adopted him last year and he's full of personality. He's smart as a whip too! It doesn't take him long to learn something new. I'm convinced that there is a little human trapped in that little body. Yorkiepoos can differ even within the same litter. He weighs 12 lbs, his coat is wavy and soooo soft, he's got some yorkie coloring and floppy ears. He doesn't shed and my allergies aren't affected. Feel free to check out my pictures, there's lots of him in my albums. |
