What a sweet little face. So, glad to hear he is doing better. |
I'm so glad he has relaxed and is a happy little fellow now. Im working with my little one who came straight from the breeder's home where she was never alone even once on her sep anxiety. So it's not only rescue dogs who have this issue. After 2 months I'm just now beginning to see her panic be not quite so severe and I can actually leave the room for a couple of minutes before she gets anxious. I know what you mean about not making coming home an occasion because the first thing I want to do when I get home is rush in and make a fuss over her. I'm still not sure why that is a bad thing... If the dog can look forward to party time as soon as people come home but I'm trying. |

I used to have a Shih zhu and she would have anxiety too. She was really close to my daughter and my daughter was in and out the door like a revolving door! Everytime she left, my poor dog physically got sick, she threw up and just layed around. She was so depressed when she left. I couldn't do anything with her when my daughter left. She was precious...her name was Molly. R.I.P. |
I am so glad you gave him the extra time needed to adjust. He sure is cute. |

I am glad to hear jobi is doing so well. My neighbor had 2 rescue pomeranians who have seperation anxiety. She got a DAP diffuser which has a pheromone which mimics the smell of a lactating mommy and it has really helped her dogs. |
