Females I have 2 females, 1 11 months old and the other is 9 months old, raised together and now all of a sudden the older one acts like she wants to kill the younger one, whats going on |
Is either female been spayed? If not, perhaps this is due to hormones kicking in as the older girl matures? |
I agree...Yorkies will fight to the death sometimes...if they are family pets I would have them both spayed. |

no, will it ever stop |
Spaying may help with that behavior...the hormones wouldn't be so unstable and things should settle down. |
I agree with the previous posters about spaying. It may help get things more under control although you could still see some aggression post spay too. They can get pretty nasty when their in heat. Is there a reason that they aren't spayed yet? Unless you have plans to breed them, its really a good idea to get them spayed ASAP. For now, you probably want to keep them seperated unless they are under your watchful eye. |
Are they not spayed because you are breeding them? If so this is a common thing for breeders to face. They have to keep the females separated |

To the op yeah it could be just hormons and they do get pretty nasty when in heat , keeping them seperated could help. |
