Do your yorkies share the same food bowl?? I have a 1 yr old boy named keno and i'll be getting him a sister so he can have some company when i'm at work, my question is should i let her drink out of his dog bowl I will be feeding her puppy food so ill be separating that, but i wasn't sure if i should share there water? |
All 4 of mne share the same bowl. Good luck with your baby. Don't forget to post pictures. |
Mine do unless one of them is ill. Then I separate them. |
My 2 share the water. As for the food, each one has their own bowl. Sissy eats shut in the crate-otherwise Bubba would eat hers. She is a slow eater and he is done in a second. |
My three each have their own food bowl, they are different sizes so they get different measurements of food, one eats a senior holistic food (I actually see a difference in her walking, but she still tends to stare into space sometimes!), but they all share the same water bowl.:D |
Yes, they do. However, I feed them each an individual bowl of food for breakfast and supper...the rest of the time I free feed from one large bowl. |
Mine all have their own food dish, but then they eat raw, and I wash after each meal w/hot soapy water...However, it's a community water bowl(s)...I have 4, throughout the house...either stainless steel or glass... |
They each have a water bowl that's attached to their crate, but other than that they share.... and come to think of it, when their crates are open they drink out of each others instead of their own lol! |
Mine share the water bowl and the hard food bowl. In the morning they get some moist food and they get individual plates |
I have 3 community water bowls around the house but they each get their own food bowl so I can measure their consumption as well as feed the appropriate type of food. i.e. puppy vs adult This prevents them from overeating too. |

When I first got Beamer, he and Lil Bit shared the same water bowl but had their own food bowls. They had different foods. But I found they both liked the same food, so now they share the same food bowl as well as the water bowl. I free feed them, there is always food down for them. |

Yikes. I can only imagine the blood bath that would ensue if they all tried to eat from the same bowl. :rolleyes: No, mine all have their own bowl and I watch them while they are eating. Two of them are little piggies and one takes her time. The 2 pigs would gladly move over and start on the other bowl if they weren't being watched. |
Oh LOLOLOLOL! Sharing? Of food? What :p? There is no sharing of food bowls here...it would be total anarchy, chaos, and bedlam. Like Bama, we have to watch them eat as well - or someone might be a food sniper. After they're done with their bowls though, they each have to go around to the others' bowls and make darn sure that they 100 percent clean :rolleyes:. They do share the water bowls. |
